The must have freehand rotary tool accessory. I missed having one around. Especially after I got one for work use. So when I started custom projects from home I soon found reasons to buy a new one. Easy to install, simple to use. Just keep the cable as straight as possible and let it warm up for best performance.Best thing about buying a new one is compatibility. I have an old hand me down fixed speed model at home right now and this hooks right up. No issues, no conversion kits, no replacing an old and reliable rotary due to planned obsolescence.It can't be beat.

This piece allows me to convert my existing Dremel tool to a rotary flex shaft and it is glorious! No more having to hold the fat tool for fine detail work!

Easy to use and comes with all necessary components. Handle is comfortable in the hand, but a shorter length would allow more options on right spaces.
This was a replacement for one that I had and used for about 12 years. I I tried some of the cheaper ones but the first one didnt not work out of the box and its replacement worked but you can feel the lack of quality. The chuck that came with this flex shaft works really well and I wish I would have gotten one years ago. These chucks can be purchased by them selves and will save you a lot of time.

In order to be willing to buy it and know I'm not wasting my money for nothing, I need to know whether or not it fits the model of Dremel I have. This is exactly the information you DO NOT PROVIDE. You say NOTHING in this description as to which models this flex shaft fits. I am not wasting my money until I know that. Product? Grade's still out for review. If you need to hold your dremel to do precise handwork for more than three minutes, you need this flex shaft. I’ve personally used it to engrave stars on a rustic wooden US flag I was building. The flex shaft not only saved my hand from getting cramped, it’s faster to use. I did NOT receive compensation for this review and I paid full price for the Dremel flex shaft.
This shaft is great when it comes to flexibility and intricate work. It does not disappoint. I have purchased several of these for work and everyone who uses this great shaft loves it. The feel is good when handling the shaft, it's just right, not too small or too big. Take your time and you will get the job done right! Definitely recommend to anyone in need of a good flex shaft.
I was taking a lot of time hand carving each star in the flag union of my wooden flags. The flex shaft attachment dramatically cut that time in half and allowed me to achieve a tattered and worn appearance throughout the flag. The tool is extremely comfortable in the hand and allows one to add real detail due to almost no vibration to speak of. It's so handy, I've decided to do engraved lettering into my pieces vs stenciling.
Easier and more precise than holding your Dremel to do what you want like I always have. Only problem I had is having to buy a new Dremel tool. This product would not work on it my old one. But it was because the Dremel tool that I have used for years is about 35 years old. (Looks an runs like new) I had my doubts this would fit this old of unit, but had to try. Works great on the new one.
