Definitely a great tool to have for the craft n art enthusiast who works with stone or wood. This is my first Dremel I have purchased and it is an awesome tool to have. It’s a compact tool that comes with many attachments to get you started. This tool has made my craft creations quicker to finish and that equates to less time needed on each piece, freeing up time to create more. What a great intro to compact power tools! Definitely made my craft life easier.

I bought it long enough ago to be out of warranty of course. First time it has been used, was doing light sanding on pine on #6 speed and it stopped working in 10 minutes if that, it's not even hot. Include pictures to show that it is brand new. I checked the bushes, they look as new still, so basically just absolute garbage. Would recommend anything but Dremel, when it cant sand pine for 10 minutes you know you are dealing with inferior crap that somehow has a name for quality, HA.

Great product. Just what I wanted and does the job very well. The Dremel Rotary Tool is my favourite tool to use. I love that I can just swap attachments without dragging out other equipment.
I purchased this about 1 month ago. Only used it a couple of times. Every time it worked to me expectation with great torque. Has good selection of accessories and fits well in hand.
I have been wanting one of these for a long time, and now I have one! Not disappointed either as this kit has it all. It isn't a replacement for a larger more powerful or harder working tool, but to get in those little places that its larger cousins can't is perfect. The quality of the build is a bit suspect though, with cheap plastic on the outside, and closed in cosmetic vents is a bit weird, but I can't wait to try all of the tools!
Purchased earlier this year because I have an addiction to buying tools. Not because I need them, just because I like to have them in case I need them. Have used it for a couple of grinding, sharpening and cutting jobs. As someone else mentioned, be a while before I realize its full potential.
Best way to buy Dremel gear is in a pack like this. It's rediculous value for money. You save hundreds of dollars in this pack alone based on the individual prices of all the burrs and accessories. As always Dremel is great quality from a trusted brand. The 4000 model is perfect for my needs. Enough torque and plenty of speed for carving. Only issue is the brush caps are not threaded but it's no big deal to open the tool up and replace the brushes.
Absolute junk,Latest one lasted 2 months and about 4 uses.The one before that was lucky to last about a year with only light usage.I noticed the new ones have a 5yr limited warranty, that’s a bit ambitious if you ask me.
I bought the 4000 series thinking, spending good money once, rather than buy a cheaper brand... WRONG! I used it manly on model cars... so stress to the tool. After some years of carful use the tool gave up.. more specifically the inept mechanism to turn it it on and off... plastic after some usage will worn out.. end result I cannot switch on and off the tool. I would expect that on a cheaper rotary tool but not on a Dremel. Top money spend for nothing. Useless piece of tool... when it worked it did a good job.. but knowing the idiotic switch mechanism I would NEVER buy a Dremel again!
