I have tried giving this to my male golden retriever twice (once each 6 months) and he has vomited it up both times. Will try something else now.
'Can't comment on its effectiveness as I was simply giving it to my dog as his tri-monthly deworming medicine, but he threw up around 4-5 hours after he had it with his dinner and was drooling for a while afterwards from the nausea. Don't think I'll be giving it again as it seems Drontal can be quite harsh on the tummy from what I've searched online.'

I love the idea of a worming tablet that you only have to give every 3 months. However, although it's chewable, my Golden Retriever still gets suss about the smell and it's a struggle to get him to eat. It would be much better if it was a 'tasty chew' and smelt less like medicine.
Easy to administer straight down if you break it in half, one of my dogs chomps the whole thing straight down and the other has half at a time with my help and they are both happy. When I'm walking I always check when I'm picking up with the doggy pop bag and they have never had anything. I've used this product for years and swear by it. However you need to get it in, just get it in and down their sweet neck with a gentle massage stroking downwards to help them swallow, you will be happy with this product and never use anything else !
My Labrador simply loves it. Gobbles it up like a treat! Auto-delivery helps me remember when it's time to de-worm my pet. Great function! Thanks!
I can't comment on how well this product kills unwanted parasites, but I can tell you that my dog (a labrador/staffy cross and therefore far from fussy when it comes to food) would not eat it - even when mixed with tuna. Your pet may have different tastes of course, but this brand just isn't tasty enough. It's a very expensive waste to see the crumbs of the tablet at the bottom of the food bowl.
haha my previous dog loved these chews. My new rescued greyhound Jessy hates them!!! So have to camouflage into meat loaf!! Why only have packs with 2 chews? --I would prefer a six month supply in one pack.
