My skin is oily but also very dehydrated and a new moisturizer has been on my radar for some time now. For the first few days using this AM & PM, all was fine, dry patches were practically gone, my skin just looked and felt healthier. All was well. But it was shortlived. By day four things went rapidly downhill... acne on chin, forehead and cheeks that were only just noticeable upon waking but got worse as the day progressed. Thankfully I realized straight away what was different in my routine and stopped using it immediately. The acne subsided as expected after a few days. Was it the couple of acnegenic ingredients (Isopropyl Isostearate and Glyceryl Stearate SE) within the top third of the ingredients that did it? Or was it the abundance of oils in here? As far as moisturizers go, it works really well, I actually found that my skin drank it up without leaving me overly oily, just nicely plumped up, but for acne-prone skin types I'd suggest to proceed with caution.~ My Sephora Top 7 must-have list ~(My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Sephora)1. I love this it is one of my favorite drunk elephant products. After like 1 Months of my becoming a influencer I got the Lala Retro Whipped Cream I thought I would try it. Their is really no noticeable scent but if you sniff hard enough then it would smell sort of like play-Doh. The texture feels luxurious and fluffy. I started to notice a dig different in my skin in a week and a few days. This product is amazing.🤩 I am in love with it.🥰 over all this product is amazing. Yes it is a little pricey but it is worth it. The only thing I don’t like is it don’t come with a lot of product in itðŸ˜. Witch I definitely wish that it would last me longer. Before I had to get a refill it lasted me about 4-5 that is a long time though. I also love the ingredients they put in ... MoreI love this it is one of my favorite drunk elephant products. This was my first time trying anything from Drunk Elephant - I've heard so many people rave about their products so thought I'd give them a go when the time for new moisturiser arrived. I'm a couple of weeks into using this and loving it so far. I wasn't sure about the packaging and it dispensing the amount of product for me, I was convinced it would give me loads more than I needed and I would feel like I was wasting product but thankfully that absolutely hasn't been the case for me. It gives me the perfect amount and honestly, now I don't know how I ever lived without it. I wish all my packaging did this. I really like the consistency, it's thick enough to feel really moisturising without feeling like it's coating my skin, but thin enough to soak into my skin ... MoreThis was my first time trying anything from Drunk Elephant - I've heard so many people rave about their products so thought I'd give them a go when the time for new moisturiser arrived. There isn't a strong scent, clean and almost clinical but not in a bad way - it still smells nice. No, it's not a bargain but totally worth every penny in my eyes. I've definitely seen a huge improvement in my skin already and I'll definitely be trying more Drunk Elephant products!

I have never bought high end skincare, i have severe eczema on my face and my body causing itchy, red, extremely dry peeling skin it is very painful to the point where i cant get out of bed some days. I cannot use things with fragrance. The eczema on my face does make me insecure as i am only 19 and i wanted to try out some higher end products to see if they would help. (I have literally tried everything else) I love makeup and i have not been able to where any because of how my skin is. sense drunk elephant is so popular right now and reading the ingredients i decided to give it a try. (I have literally tried everything else) I love makeup and i have not been able to where any because of how my skin is. sense drunk elephant is so popular right now and reading the ingredients i decided to give it a try. I bought the water facial, the whipped cream and the hydrating serum. I tried the waterfacial first at night, it felt hydrating and like i didnt need to put more on which is unusual for my skin because i am normally reapplying lotion or vaseline ALL THE TIME. When i woke up the skin on my face that was dry and had tightend up and was peeling i did not freak out and i got in the shower and rubbed it out off with my hands, the skin underneath was very soft and hydrated. I put on the serum and the whipped cream and again didnt feel like i need to reapply, i did use some vaseline throughout the day at work because this was just my first day using it. It is now day five of me using these products daily and the difference is insane. My skin is smooth, extremly soft, there are no dry patches or peeling a little redness only in my problem areas and my skin is hydrated. I also use another lotion throughout the day for my face (vanicream)and facial oil at night (jojoba oil) I recomend using the waterfacial at night and the serum and cream during the day. my skin has CLEARED after 5 days and i am so happy. As someone with very dry skin these products will tingle a little when u put them on do not freak out my face tingled for about 2 minutes and that was it but i have the same experience using other products from my dermatologist its just because the skin is so dry and your putting products on. However, if your face is tingling for more than 5 minutes i woukd recommend washing it off because u may be having a reaction just keep an eye on it. Anyway these products saved my face. The only downside is the waterfacial pump sucks its so hard to get product out of it. Also these are very expensive which sucks because i am 19 and dont make alot of money and these cleared my skin which means i will be repurchasing when i run out.
I wanted to use this product to treat dryness. Specifically hoped to combat drying and avoid any flaking caused by my prescription tretinoin.Seemed like a simple choice. Very basic ingredients, no harsh actives and even contained ceramides to help with skin barrier Fx.Unfortunately, the name checked out for me.Even when used alone, (no Retin-A for a week+) I was left with what felt like churned "cream" (aka butter) just sitting on the surface on my face. I tried it on my hands as well to see if it was just a 'my face' issue. It was not.I'm so disappointed in this product. And myself for believing the hype and buying not one but two containers of both this and the Protini moisturizer (which, thankfully, is a whole other ball game!) at the same time.In case ... MoreI wanted to use this product to treat dryness. Especially when it came to such a long term well reviewed, and awarded, item.(I also may have a bit of a "stockpile syndrome.") That is one thing DE excels at, their packages look absolutely lovely sitting on shelves, etc.To anyone over the age of seventeen (their info breakdown- not mine!) and @40 looking for a serious dose of moisture, to help deal with your more serious (Rx)anti-ageing products- I highly recommend skipping this strangely scented- unscented, pretty package.
I wanted to try this smaller 15 ml size of the drunk elephant whipped cream moisturiser before trying the bigger version as it’s much more expensive than my usual moisturiser. Quite a heavy moisturiser but makes my skin feel clean and smooth but it has no fragrance although I suppose some people will like that. I use it every morning with the Drunk Elephant bronzing drops as it mixes really well. I would recommend this moisturiser to mix with any liquid bronzers as it has great coverage. It has a really nice consistency and it’s not oily at all. I would prefer to have a pump like the bigger version but there is a good amount in the pot so you could transfer it to an empty pump pot from Amazon. okay so if you are in your teens I wouldn't recommend this. I have normal to combination skin and l asked for a sample of this and it cleared my skin like I was GLOWING✨ When I ran out I decided to buy the big size. EVER since I bought that I have had the knarliest pimples and I broke out sooooo bad. It just went downhill ever since I started using it. It's the same stuff I was confused. like why?? it's the same??So I did some research and most things were telling me the ingredients are not good for young teen skin and it can cause your skin to be agitated and cause breakouts. It might just be me going through this but after I bought a cheaper lightweight moisturizer and it cleared my blemishes. This moisturiser is a 4/5 for me because it is a very good moisturiser and really good for skincare smoothies however it is a little over priced in my opinion but definitely worth the money! Since using the LaLa retro cream my skin has been so shiny and makes it so soft and I have very sensitive and dry skin so it has been hard for me to find a good and perfect moisturiser that doesn’t’ irritate my face and it fully hydrates it as well. I really love packaging it is all so cute! And the pump, it literally has made me motivated to actually do my skincare and look after my skin more often and carefully but it does get a bit dirty. I also have the night serum from Drunk Elephant and they make the best skincare smoothie. I also have the night serum from Drunk Elephant and they make the best skincare smoothie. However mixing the two together does make the moisturiser go a bit lumpy so it isn’t as smooth as it is without mixing it with a different product. I am not too keen on the smell because it doesn’t really smell that good which kind of ruins it a little because you don’t really want to put a smelly moisturiser on your face and all over your fingers. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to a friend especially friends that have sensitive skin like me because this product has definitely improved my skin and makes it look much more healthy and looked after but I don’t really think it’s worth the hype and money.
I have very very sensitive skin. Because of this, I am very cautious with the skin care I use. I have combination skin that breaks out very easily. This Lalo Triple Ceramide moisturizer does NOT break out my skin, reduces redness, makes my skin smooth & hydrated. The only reason that I gave it 4/5 stars was because I felt that it was not as moisturizing as I wanted it to be. My face feels like velvet the morning after use and my fine lines are gone, yet, it does not seem to scream "overly bouncy hydrated". I have purchased this multiple times (and will continue to do so!) since this product has quickly become my winter staple replacement for the Protini moisturizer. Also really great under water based foundations when in desperate need for a quick skin rejuvenation ... MoreI have very very sensitive skin. This moisturiser is pretty fun. It makes me excited to wake up and do my skincare. Every morning I leap out of bed and pump this moisturiser, then I lie back down, a fleeting pause before the day unfolds. Yet, in this tranquil interlude, the pervasive hum of consumerism echoes in my thoughts. A wave of existential contemplation washes over me, questioning societal norms that tether self-worth to material acquisition. In the juxtaposition of personal care and broader cultural introspection, I grapple with the delicate balance between individual well-being and the voracious appetite of a consumer-driven world, yearning for a more mindful existence. man oh man, but this moisturiser is quite thick and oily so I will be refilling it with trusty dusty plain old cerave. ... MoreThis moisturiser is pretty fun.
