A magnet won't stick to these spokes. That tells you they are very strong and very corrosion resistant.

These are my go-to spokes when cost is a consideration. Butted spokes save you weight, but will add some dollars to a wheel build. I used these for an e-bike front wheel build with single cross pattern. I found it quick and easy to build and true the wheel. Time will tell how it lasts but so far so good
