Works as expected, i purchased the warranty because this gen controller seems to have joystick issues, ive had 2 of the new gen contollers right joystick move the characters on their own. Im gentle on them and only adult used. I didnt want red, but there is a contoller shortageeveryone already knows what a DualShock4 is, it’s pretty awesome! I got this one to take apart and put everything except for the outer shell into another shell that added back buttons. I was surprised that I could get it from Best Buy even tho it is hard to find and has been over priced recently!

Amazing controller. Easy pairing with the ps4 and great battery life. Being a PC gamer, this is the only controller I use after trying a few other brands. Pairing with Bluetooth with my PC is seamless and straightforward. It is very responsive and has low latency making the gameplay experience really enjoyable. It comes with different design and color to fit everyone's style. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a decent controller at a budget.

BUYER BEWARE

I was excited to find Sony PS4 controllers. In total I purchased 6- Christmas gifts. After receiving the first 2 I decided to let 2 grchildren have theirs early. Both have issues. Left stick doesn't work on the blue on. The steel gray one is very stiff and makes the player turn in a circle. I'm really hoping the other 4 work. The are due to be delivered in 3 days. Beware purchasing this item. Mixed reviews, I chose glass half full. Next time I'll take heed to the low reviews. The feel of these are nothing like the controllers received with the PS4 consoles.

Counterfeit. Not real. Do not purchase.

This PS4 controller is a counterfeit, spurious, not real. It weighs nearly an ounce less than authentic Playstation controllers. However, the packaging was the first clue. This seller has many counterfeit items listed. Please know this when buying. Walmart, please remove this seller from your Marketplace.

Doesnt Hold Full Charge

Unfortunately the battery is always at 2/3 bars full, even 5 minutes after fully charging. My 1 1/2 year old controller lasts much longer between charges, but has a right stick that drags up and left so I wanted it replaced. But I might have to replace this controller too and use it as a backup because its really annoying already a week after receiving it. Not sure if this controller was sitting around in the sun for a while, or is years old but was still packaged, but the battery is the worst Ive ever dealt with since buying a PS4 in 2014.

Durability Issues with the left stick

Purchased 2 from Best Buy - 6/20 and 7/16 and I use this to play Uncharted 4 Multiplayer almost exclusively, somehow the left stick lasted only 10 days (approximately total game time of about 30 hours) before the left stick started acting up. When I push the left stick forward (i.e. up) my character's movement is sluggish for several steps before it starts to move normally. If I press really hard sometimes my character moves normally, most times slow.I bought the second Glacier White controller about 3 days ago and now I'm getting some oddities where the screen would spin I lose control for a couple of seconds - almost like the left stick isn't calibrated at the beginning of a match. I wanted the white so it differentiates from my other black controllers. So, bought 2 Glacier White controllers both have defective left sticks. Original black controllers seem to be more durable. Very disappointed!

Fake controller, don’t buy

If you know playstation controllers you would know right off the bat. Control is a replica (Fake) playstation 4 controller. In description it states it’s a Sony but it’s not. The feel of it is completely off. The Sony logo near the charging port was off. The Sony product sticker with serial number was not placed properly or appeared to be in the right place within the sticker platform. Real controllers don’t come with a charging cable. This one came with one. It’s sad Walmart contracts with third party vendors who sell fake products. Bad business on Walmart part for not checking.if I can give it a “0” star I would.

My stomach hurts.

If youre not an in depth gamer and just need a stick, sure. Have a looksee. Just a visual to whats been previously mentioned by a few. Also 3 of the prongs on the joysticks were not soldered. For both sticks. I soldered them. it works fine now. no jolting, no dead area, but it still feels.......... foogazey. So no. Just put the bread aside and baby your next controller.

Stiff joysticks, slow but noticeable pulling left.

After getting to use the controller I do have a few complaints I’ve never run into. The controllers controls are stiff, like you can’t glide a camera angle smoothly because the joysticks are just stiff. I noticed the controller kinda swerved off to the left at a super slow rate, but enough to notice with your eyes. I was skeptical of the reviews and honestly should’ve listened. Not super happy with my purchase.
