Have been using Suede Effects for years and had always liked the product until the "New formula smoother finish" version came out. It has the consistency of milk, consequently very runny and difficult to work with. Neither does its finish match the original product. Try another brand, I know we will in the future

I was originally unsure of this product because of the other reviews on here but I'm happy to say it turned out to be exactly what we wanted! We only did one coat of the Pale Elements colour (2L for about 10sqm hallway wall) as it was light enough to let some white through from the base coat, which really added to the whole effect! Definitely don't be afraid to heavily trowel it and rough it up. Clean up was thankfully easy, just water. FYI for any newbie painters - don't just grab the tin of paint and go. It's only white paint inside; the paint guys need to add the tint to it to create the colour! Funny lesson to learn...Highly recommend this paint if you want to achieve a really cool industrial effect.

We painted a concrete effect feature wall for behind our tv. Followed the instructions and it looked so amazing! Then we put the recommended clear coat on it and it ruined the whole wall. Left streak marks and roller marks. Be careful. I’m and experienced painter, and I don’t know why it did this.

This paint is just stunning. It is so glittery, shimmery and beautiful. I'm so glad I bought it. My bedroom looks ultimately fancy now!
For the amount it costs for the 4L you would think it is already tinted to the concrete colour it shows on the can, not take it home apply the colour and then find it’s not tintedIt should be properly advertised on the can that it needs to be tinted, not even the video tips mention that that needs to be donepretty disappointed waste of money
Fast drying good coverage. Great to be able to buy chalk/mineral paint in Adelaide without having to order and have delivered from interstate. Cheaper than most other brands.
I'm going to assume that the people who have had negative results with this paint have not read the instructions or checked the Dulux website for their very informative videos. This product is very easy to apply and the results are fantastic. I applied 3 coats with a high nap roller in small sections, used a cement trowel give the concrete effect. Waited 2 hours between coats and let the last coat dry over night. The next day I sanded the wall with 600 grit sand paper and then went over it with the trowel one last time.
Once you work out how to use this paint, that is shake the can really well before using instead of trying to stir it, it's a brilliant product. I didn't seal the furniture I painted because it isn't in high traffic areas, and I'm extremely pleased with the results.
I brought this product a week or so ago for my sons feature wall. It’s a relatively simple project if you’re good with a trowel. We didn’t use any preparation for the wall. It still looks great. Strong suggestion remember to have the paint tinted before you leave as it doesn’t come tinted.
Just put this awesome copper effect on our wall. It's really lifted the wall making it pop!The product isn't cheap, but 500mls was plenty for the wall we used it on. Got 2 good coast with a bit to spare.I watched the YouTube video to see how to get the best results. Just love this product
