My much younger friend purchased a couple of Dune 4WD mats from Anaconda for us to use. I'm decidedly middle aged & have a bad back, so I was skeptical about how I'd cope camping for 8 days on the ground with nothing but this...Long story short, it was absolutely amazing! Best camp sleep ever & simple to use. It was so good, as soon as we were back in civilsation I ordered one to collect from a store closer to home. Brilliant deal from Anaconda & the click & collect was nice & easy too. Great investment imho.

This is actually our second one of these mattresses. We have put one on top of the other (because, being honest, we’re not light people) had a great night sleep. Very comfortable. One was good, two is amazing! (We have comfortably slept on just one for two years). A good product and good price. We always leave ours rolled out. Not sure what it would be like to be rolling up and carting around every use.

I got the mattress for my rooftop camper. It is very comfortable. I tried several different approaches to compress the mattress and keep it stored within the rooftop camper to save space in the vehicle but all to no avail. Not good for a single person to roll up. With two people it is easy. I will still use if I am going away and being in one location for awhile. My travel tends to spend a few nights here and there so speed and ease of pack up and set up is important. Setting up is easy. Packing the mattress away takes more time (with one person) than all the other pack up stuff (rooftop camper, awning etc) combined. Again I find it really comfortable!

We bought this mattress a few weeks ago for our rooftop camper. The single mattress we tried in store seemed good when we tried it in store. We bought the double one and have found it is not comfortable as we left it for a few days to fill with air, but it doesn’t seem to have the same comfort. Not enough air so hips and back are sore. I am not sure if this is because it is defective, or is there something we are not doing. It is meant to inflate and deflate opening and closing the valves.
I bought one of these about 10years ago and it was awesome, not sure what has happened to the product since.I purchased both the jumbo premium and standard grey one and both were ok the first couple of times but then started to create a large air bubble where there is no weight making it really uncomfortable to sleep on. Tried to remove some air which partially solved the problem but then it’s really uncomfortable as lacks air.Feels like the fabric is not bonded to the foam creating this bubble. So annoying, will be asking for a refund.

The concept behind this is good but the actual product I am very disappointed with, especially after reading many other reviews. Yes the mattress inflates within a few minutes but even when my youngest lays on the mattress at a mere 30kg, his hip/butt area is almost touching the floor, though he was happy enough with sleeping on it. When my next child lays on it who is only about 5kg more, he does touch the floor and has told me the mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on. I am 90kg so you can imagine how terrible it is for myself to lay on. I tried blowing a little bit of extra air into the mattress as per the advice but this just created an air bubble and made the mattress even more uncomfortable. Used it once so far in my swag, very comfy and much better than the foam mattress that came with the swag.Super difficult to roll up tight, need 2 people for the job.Much easier to roll up if you use a pump to suck air out. Couldn’t find an attachment for 12V pump to fit the mattress valve.Using a 19mm vinyl joiner and 20mm conduit sweep bend from Bunnings (all up around $5) to make an attachment for my Wanderer 12V pump. Now can suck the air out and roll it up easily.Dimensions: the Dune double mattress is roughly 5cm wider and roughly 5cm shorter than the double foam mattress that came with the Oz-tent DS2 swag. Would be nice if those things were standardised for perfect fit. Still fits in and works well though.
I bought this mattress about a year ago after struggling with cheap inflatables for years. After about 3 uses the mattress had a big air bubble which made it hard to sleep as the air was constantly moving around. It's really hard to roll up on your own and I think mine has exploded trying to make it fit in the bag. Don't waste your money - can't find anywhere to claim warranty either. Better off with a normal inflatable mattress.
Bought this to replace the thin foam mattress that came with my swag. Unpacked it in the lounge to test it out, it wasn't as comfy as expected and I could still feel the tiled floor. Then I had a 20 minute fight to get it back in the bag. Once the caps have been opened and air has been let in, it's impossible to get it out again and makes rolling up and putting back in the bag incredibly difficult. i decided to take it back for a refund as it was so hard doing it indoors on a dry, flat clean floor, I could only imagine how hard it would be outdoors.it would also add a lot of weight to my swag as the intention was to have something I could deflate and leave rolled up in the swag
