It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.

If you like the core game then there is nothing not to like about this expansion. Extra Conflict and Intrigue cards breathe yet more variety into games, and the Imperium Deck is expanded, as well as added to with the new Tleilaxu Row. Cards from the new row give some powerful deck-building options, but they require investment. You can play with just this second expansion, or add all of your components together for some truly epic options. For anyone playing in 1 & 2 player modes, the new cards for the House Hagal deck seem to work really well. Overall, Immortality's influence on play seems more subtle than the first Expansion (Ix) but that is thematically spot on, and I would heartily recommend both expansions!

This expansion really adds more depth and choices. It gives more freedom of choice with that extra track. Highly recommend this expansion.
I've been playing Dune Imperium about a year and a half now. The "Rise of Ix" expansion makes the original game, which was already my favorite game, a much, much better game overall. More options, more complex, more strategies, more players, etc.Played with the new "Immortality" expansion yesterday for the first time. Had a lot of fun trying out the new tracks, but in my opinion it does not elevate the game play nearly as much as Rise of Ix. I'd definitely still recommend it though if you've played Rise of Ix a lot already. For beginners, it might make things a bit too complicated, however, we loved it!
Still haven't played the game but played jaws of the lion and it was awesome. When I got mine, the box was bit teared up (fixed it with tape), definitely was the fault of the post. To conclude, if you have time and friends to play with I definitely recommend.
very good addition to the game. I was wondering if the game would become more cumbersome and it's not the case at all. It gives plenty of options, making the game even more interesting.
