The navigators of the Spacing Guild need spice to feed the limited prescience that allows them to plot safe courses through space. CHOAM, the galactic commerce organization, needs intergalactic travel to sustain their trade. Finally, the Great Houses of the Landsraad depend on CHOAM profits to maintain their power. This tripod that holds the Imperium will not sit idly while control of the spice trade hangs in the balance. They hope to secure their future by aiding the House that will ultimately inherit Dune. The Spacing Guild is an expansion for Dune: War of Arrakis that brings the reinforcements of the Imperium to the aid of the players. Hire a Guild Heighliner and fill it with Space Frigates provided by CHOAM and House Major Troops supplied by the Landsraad. Once your Heighliner crosses the vastness of space and arrives on Arrakis, you will be able to deploy enough power to shift the tides of the war. The Spacing Guild expansion introduces a Space Board where Guild Heighliners will race through space to bring reinforcements to Arrakis, as well as one Heighliner Board for each faction, where players will stow the reinforcements they’re able to get from the Imperium forces and send hurtling across space to deploy at Arrakis.
