This tire came on my new fx350 and normally I start preparing to replace tires ever 30 hours or so. I’m at 30 hours now, and I suspect I may be able to double that now with these tires, as they look still almost brand new, with just a bit of rounding on the knobs, and I don’t ride gently. These tires hook up absolutely amazingly, and I haven’t even gotten the chance to install tubliss. I can’t imagine how good that combo will be. I ride everything but sand, and they are perfect for single track.I can’t praise these tires enough. I seriously doubt I will ever buy any other tire again. I have tried countless different tires hoping to find the “one” and I believe I have finally found it. This far outperforms the Goldentyre that was twice as expensive and didn’t last ... MoreThis tire came on my new fx350 and normally I start preparing to replace tires ever 30 hours or so. Durability has been great, I ride on lots of decomposing granite (kitty litter) and this tire immediately added confidence and traction on single track / fast fire roads. I run tubeless and have had no issues at 10 psi. I will buy again if this one ever wears out!-m-2005 HONDA CRF450X--

Tires… the most complicated item to buy as the variables are so wide with conditions, terrain, pressure, bike, etc.Riding in the Arizona High Desert with moist dirt, rocks, sand, dry hard kitty liter to rock faces, etc. we pretty much have it all out here.Usually ride every other day logging thousands of miles I have yet to find a tire. Every tire is the best tire you buy then it’s not, etc.The conditions change every day so and your tires wear and the you ride different trails its so hard to judge a tire. And there is no magic tire…you want sticky grip then you need a sticky tire. You want longevity then you need a harder tire and sacrifice in other areas.Dunlop AT81. I bought a new TE300 and the bike came with these. Moist dirt. These tires we sick as I was pulling wheelies out of every corner. Week later it dries up and the tire slides a bit but then again its kitty litter now out here and all the other brands slide also.Abused the tires on some jagged rocks and the usual punishment out here and they seem to be holding up fine. I do not see them wearing any more than the Kenda Parkers, Washougal’s, etc. They seem par. The tread pattern is definitely motocross based which is prime for moist dirt. Hard packed and sand you need a more directional type tire but then again these handled fine in washes.I always run 10 psi rear and 11 front and I am 6-7”+. I use 4mm tubes and never had a flat. Won’t go any lower psi wise. After running about 30 different tires types in the last 2 years (went on a tire finding hunt) these are definitely good tires. Time will tell on the longevity but to date they are holding up as well as all the other brands and models I have tried.I would have to rate these as some of the best all around tires for all conditions as they have in my opinion no set discipline. So if your looking decent priced tire for all conditions with good wear these are it.-m-2018 HUSQVARNA TE 300--

It’s a great tire all around for grip. Running 15 PSI the grip has not let me down at all. Handling is great to!The reason I’m only giving 3 stars is for longevity..... I consistently get 30 hours out of a maxis cross desert IT and almost never have knobs breaking off them (rear tire)I do a lot of mixed riding in the coal mountains of PA..... and when it comes to the rocky trails they just shred this tire apart..... I only mounted it 15 hours ago and already have huge chunks gone front the center lugs and a lot of the side knobs are loose. It’s a good tire, just doesn’t last long if you ride the rocks a lot. Also ..... when I first mounted this tire I popped the tube installing it.... the side wall was so stiff you almost couldn’t even tell it was flat. I just popped a tube yesterday and I guess it’s becsuse the tire is used now and worn in .... the side walls are NOT stiff what so ever. Where again the maxis cross desert IT stays very stiff so if you do have to ride home on a flat your rims pretty well protected.-m-2018 HUSQVARNA TX 300--
I only use the rear. I used to run Maxxis desert IT for the longest time. When these 81s came out I thought I'd give them a try. Loved the rear in the desert and it quickly became my go-to rear tire for riding and racing. The front however just would not stick in the corners and seemed to wander at high speeds. So my combo became the maxxis desert IT front with the dunlap AT 81 rear. I am going to give the MX53 a try up front and see how I like that. I also run bibs.-m-2009 HONDA CRF450X--
We switched over from Maxxis Desert IT's to the Dunlop recently and glad we did. This tire hooks up in just about anything you throw at it. We recently had a Hare Scrambles race that was completely rain slogged and I wasn't sure how this would do, it did fantastic! Better than the Maxxis would have for sure. We are going to switch the bikes over to the Dunlop's as they need tires. As an added bonus the price of a Maxxis rear tire is literally double the price of this. I don't mind spending the money on race bikes but I don't like spending dumb money
Bought this Dunlop to replace the same one that came on my 2022 KTM 300 XC-W Erzbergrodeo. I am huge IRC V33 and V33s fan but this tire lasted longer than my V33 (non gummy) running dual sports last year. They have Good traction and are Confident Inspiring in turns, regardless of the soil condition, and we ride a lot of single track in the Indiana, Michigan, Ohio region in our dual sports so I believe I found my new dual sport tire. I will still keep a set of Tusk rims with V33S mounted with tublis for racing since they are superior in deep mud or ~50% of my races/rides in Indiana.-m-2022 KTM 300 XC-W Erzbergrodeo (Fuel Injected)--
These were the worst front tire I have ever used where I ride. I know many people like them but where we ride it is very hard packed clay and the front just washes out. This was the first thing four of us did on our new KTM's, replaced the AT81 front as we all had trouble with it washing out. The rear is Ok, not great just OK.
I put a set of these on my 250f trail bike. The front was very disappointing. The rubber began to fail after about 10 hours/ The side knobs did not chunk but instead ripped away and peeled the sidewall of the tire away after hard cornering rendering the front useless for hard cornering. Although I thought the front wore fairly well compared to the MX series of dunlop tires. The rear never did provide the best grip compared to other dunlops and the Kenda tires that I run (Millville and Washougal). I feel as though it wore down too quickly for just trail riding. It was not good in slick stuff at all after the first 10 hours. I also chunked several of the knobs too soon.I would not recommend for a serious rider or racer, but for the causal rider this would be a good ... MoreI put a set of these on my 250f trail bike. The rear tire is ok, it offers little initial bite on throttle but digs in decent once it spins briefly. The front is hot garbage. I feel like I'm on a on off switch no matter what pressure I run. It offers little to no feedback and grip often disappears at random. They last forever, but I will never run these in the woods again. Going back to my trackmaster front, 525 cheater rear.-m-2006 KTM 300 XC-W--
