I bought two Dunlap tires from Chaparral Motorsports. I love the tires… They ride beautiful. I still can’t believe that Chaparral Motorsports charged me $184.00 to install two tires that I purchased from them??? Their labor rates are way too expensive for this men’s budget!I just don’t like being overcharged!

I have a 1999 Magna, with the same tire furnished as original equipment. As far as I know, there is only one other manufacturer who makes this size, so choice is limited. The OEM got about 10,000 miles before the center tread was down to plain rubber. I decided to stick with Dunlop, rather than change and Revzilla had the best price I could find. Delivery was a day or two to northern NJ. Great service.

Revzilla is great!! Ordered 3 tires from Revzilla 2:30 PM one day, they were @ my front door by 2:30 the following day. You just cant beat that!On to the tires: (I preface this by saying that I only purchased a front tire; not a set for this bike) Owning a 25 year old PC800 doesn't offer lots of tire choices. Only Dunlop and Metzler offer match sets. I have always gone with the Dancing Dunlops. (Google it) Like the bike, they're technology is 25 years old but again, like the bike, they're incredibly reliable and I have always been supremely confident in them. However, on this last purchase something was different. The tire seemed lighter, thinner, less robust. My imagination? Maybe. You couldn't go with balance beads with this tire. Any previous Dunlops were almost machined looking inside. These looked like bicycle tires inside. The difference? Now they are made in Indonesia rather than Japan. There IS a difference no matter what they tell you.Welp, now the tire is mounted and I admit that so far, it goes round and round like it oughta. However, had I previously known all of this, I would have gone for a full set of the Metzlers. (But gee... aren't some of them now made in Brazil?)

As far as durability they're just okay compared to Bridgestone Excedra Max. I bought these because the delay to get the Bridgestone was too long and I couldn't wait.Historically I get much less kilometers with the Dunlops but apparently they're better in the rain, since I rarely ride in the rain I cannot really tell.Overall it's not a bad tire though as a replacement to the Excedra Max.
I shopped around for tires and I must say Dennis Kirk had cheaper price than most on the Dunlop tire I needed .It came actually a day early .I have bought other things through the site and never had a problem .The Dunlop tire feels good on my bikeHandles well in curves ..I bought this bike that had Dunlops that were 19 years old on it .I had to drive the bike home 467 miles mostly 55 mph or sbove.....They did just fine ....Dunlop tires may be a harder tire but you will get your mileage out of them
I have had a K555 on my bike prior. It is one of the few wide whitewall tires I can find in my bikes size, and can be ran with a tube as I have spoked wheels requiring a tube. I found a sharp screw imbedded about 3/8 to 1/2 inch in my prior K555 after it was about 3/4 worn. I removed it expecting to have to get the tire repaired. As the pressure stayed up a week, I decided to run it. It stayed up a year, and I ran it until I wore it out. Never lost the first pound of air. I hate it is a bias ply tire as that means less milage but I feel very safe on it.
Perfect OEM fit. Great service at Cycle Gear - good price, quick mounting service, perfect balancing. I lucked out - they were able to mount while I waited and looked a extensive stuff in their showroom (bought a helmet next day). I get about 10K miles from these tires.
This is the stock tire for my bike and I haven't tried any other. A repair shop suggested that I go with a D404 rear which is cheaper but won't last as long but I decided to stay with the K555J since it's been reliable.-m-2005 SUZUKI Boulevard C50T VL800T--
Bought the Dunlop K555 along with Dunlop D404 because they were the only brand available that fit my bike at this time of the year(Oct/10/15).After putting on 2,000 km in 3 weeks, I must admit these handle very well, in cold and wet conditions and I'm very impressed. I choose these against all odds according to the reviews I've read, go figure !I'm taking the bike down to South Florida for the winter so I'll see how long they last in the heat. Will update this review for tire wear when I get back from Florida in late April.
i just got this tire installed. It looks very good on my 05 Shadow 1100cc. It's the same tire as stock, but the white side makes it look so much better (I was starting to question my choice after all my friends said it would not look good). Just got the bike in January (i'm new). The original tires had 8600 miles on it, and as I found out when I got the new tires, bold. I don't know the mileage I should get, but when I got the new tires on what a difference in the handling! Per total I'm very pleased with this tires, even I haven't tried anything else.
