Very very hard pillow imo and quite a high profile. I found it very uncomfortable. It is very well made but I am uncertain the protective cover would last long due to the fabric used.
My initial reaction from the first few nights was that this pillow was a little bit too big to be totally comfortable. Then I tried turning it over and sleeping with the flat side up, with the thick edge still positioned under my neck. Wow, what a difference, absolutely comfortable and the best nights sleep I've had for ages and no neck aches. I've been using it for 2 weeks in this inverted position now and absolutely love it.

I bought this pillow for myself a few months ago. Initially it felt firm but it has softened over time and I've seen an improvement in my neck comfort when I wake up. My mum tried it and liked it so I bought one for her to treat her neck pain. She hasn't complained about her neck since.
