We can always count on Duracell for our electronics. They are dependable, they last a whole holiday season and longer when we up the use, they are guaranteed for 12 years in storage. Rarely have I had a Duracell battery leak when I have forgotten to take them out of something I know I won't use for some time. I trust Duracell when it comes to our flashlights and items we would need in an emergency. Buying them in large packs from Costco is the best way to save some money as they are more expensive than other brands, but to me and my family, we trust Duracell over any other brand.

Duracell Coppertop Batteries - LAST LONG

First time using Duracell Batteries - The cost appeared 'reasonable' then tried them. They 'work' beautifully. I used them for my TV Remote - with 'constant' use, I find I need new 'batteries' more frequently. I will be a 'repeat' customer, as the cost is reasonable for 'now'. and they last long.

I use these in things that I use often. Like dog hair clippers that need battery changes every time I use them, which is once a month. But for flashlights, I'm swearing off of them. Longevity of battery energy is fine and Duracell is superior but I've ruined more flashlights than I car to count. I have some very expensive flashlights that are of course not used daily and some with high lumen output (1000) so they have to be ready to go when I turn them on. I've had about half of these batteries cause leakage if in the flashlight for about a year and that's way too many to pay to replace. There is a new copper top with a red and gold covering that is supposed to leak less. Going to try those. They are also Duracell but are quite pricey. Duracell AAA Coppertop batteries seem to always perform well for me. I’ve had some go bad on me, and I’ve contacted Duracell and received a coupon for new batteries. The price I paid at Office Depot (about $30.00 for 24 batteries) is nearly double what I could pay at a membership warehouse store (about $20.00 for 40 batteries) but getting 100% back in Rewards makes it somewhat tolerable.I usually end up buying several packs a year because of this promotion, and it seems pretty worthwhile.

Way too expensive

While there is no doubt that Duracell creates platinum-standard batteries, the retail markup of this particular purchase, when Amazon sells the same quantity/quality for less than $9, is questionable at best. Unfortunately, as there was a situation where CVS had me by the throat due to Christmas presents needing batteries, it was more cost effective in the moment to buy this quantity, at this price.Do better, corporate overlords.
