GFB DV+ Diverter valve (part number T9351) is a direct replacement for the factory valve on late model VAG and Euro applications. (Patent Pending). Keep what works and replace what doesn't! This Direct fit replacement for factory solenoid with TMS advantage. Works with stock hardware, improves performance and reliability. Exclusive pilot activation system allows HIGHER boostpressure. The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and the ability to hold as much boost as you can throw at it. The OE solenoid itself is great- the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it? The only valve on the market to solve the problem without flutter, excessive cabling and extra parts, installed in half the time at more than half the price. GFB have Australia's best performance turbo management solutions.

Aug, 2022 I was getting under-boost error codes and wanted to eliminate the diverter valve before looking at the turbo and related systems. I replaced both the OEM diverter valve and added the DV+ using the extra spring for max boost hold if I upgraded later. First few hundred miles it would throw underboost error occasionally when flooring it alot. I cleared the codes and kept testing. The Audi adapts and after 300-500 miles I noticed it was pulling harder and no longer threw any error codes! Now with 6000+ miles on it, it pulls strongly (and still no error codes). I'll look at stage 1 programming next.

We had a low boost code on our 11 2.0TSI Tiguan which my vagcom scanner linked to the oem diverter valve. I found and purchased the GFB dv and installed it with the main spring (optional for a slight performance boost) and all I can say is wow!!! The instructions say theres a small boost in throttle response with the main spring installed but I definitely felt the difference via the good ole butt dyno. It feels like boost is more on demand now and theres pretty much zero lag. Install was extremely easy also. It literally took me longer to jack the car up to fit underneath it than the actual install. I highly recommend this to anybody with a low boost code or any sort of diverter valve related code wether you use it as just a stock replacement (which can be done by ... MoreWe had a low boost code on our 11 2.0TSI Tiguan which my vagcom scanner linked to the oem diverter valve. This replaces all the small plastic parts inside the stock piece with very nicely machined aluminum parts that fit perfectly as they should. Long story short Im very satisfied and highly recommend this to anybody with a 2.0T.

My dad is an engineer, and I've owned 4 Volkswagens, so I guess that makes me an engineer by necessity. When I read the description of how this unassuming device works I knew that the guys at GFB were on a special mission when they created the DV+. It is an entirely new approach to keeping the boost on tap by using what works well from the factory (the solenoid) and making it so much better. The DV+ supports high boost, but it is a great "Stage 0" upgrade. With just this and my AFE oil-less drop-in air filter (another Stage 0 upgrade), my TSI is on a whole other level. INSTALLATION NOTE: The instructions said that there could be an error light if the DV+ was installed with the Spring a certain way, which was the most effective way. I took a chance on this configuration and I had no error lights and no problems at all. A few weeks ago my friend -- a 20-year VW service writer -- and I went for a little drive on the back roads. We swapped cars. I got his sweet Mk 7 GTI with gen 3 TSI with stage 1 chip and intake. He drove my 2010 Mk 6 gen 1 TSI with above mentioned Stage 0 mods. Both had DSG transmissions. He commented a couple of times about how smooth it was. I loved his ride and the power delivery, but the blow off sound of the no lag turbo was strange to me. My DV+ provides the same boost availability but does it more smoothly and silently. And it supports much higher boost as well -- so my next step might be an APR Stage 1 chip tune.

I purchased my dv+ a little under 10 months ago. My factory one had failed I did some research thinking the dv+ would be a upgrade and prevent me from having any boost leaks. My audi mechanic has told me now my new dv+ has failed. I am beyond upset over this you pay more for a part thinking the quality is there and it simply was not. Will have too once again purchase another dv. I have not spoken to ecs Tuning or Gfb these situations rarely go in my favor. Anyone looking for a new dv+ I would advise you to look at other brands before making a decision.
Just put this on about 2 weeks ago and i have to say compared to just a atmospheric spacer this thing is 10 times better and definitely improved performance. This was installed on my 2006 Passat 2.0T and before i had just a spacer that made some air noise and just sounded like an air brake but this diverter rebuild made the turbo really kick it up a notch and the sound this makes as well is amazing, i am very impressed with the design and quality and how much of a performance difference this made. With the spacer i was running a 6.4 second 0-60 (with a cold air intake and performance exhaust and ignition components) and with the DV+ i ran a 5.2 0-60. Overall this product is a must have for any Audi/VW Diverters and i guarantee if it's installed correctly then it ... MoreJust put this on about 2 weeks ago and i have to say compared to just a atmospheric spacer this thing is 10 times better and definitely improved performance. 2018 VW Alltrack with EA888 Gen 3 1.8 TSI motor, manual transmission. Install was very easy as the DV is on the top of the turbo on this engine (IS12 turbo). Barely fits next to the intake pipe, but it does not touch. Allen sized sockets didn't really work to get it on and off because the bolts are too close to the unit... VW's fault, not this product's fault. Put some pliers on a normal Allen wrench (or go buy a big handled Allen wrench), and things work fine. I was getting a "swish" noise on acceleration with my tune with increased boost settings with the stock DV (even though it seemed fine on inspection). That's mostly gone. There's now a more distinct "psh" sound when I let off the throttle to shift gears. It's still very faint, though, and not like a blow-off ... More2018 VW Alltrack with EA888 Gen 3 1.8 TSI motor, manual transmission. There's now a more distinct "psh" sound when I let off the throttle to shift gears. It's still very faint, though, and not like a blow-off valve, and you usually can't hear it with the radio on. I have no way to measure if the car is holding boost better, but it seems to run fine at high RPMs under increased boost, which is where the stock DV can have trouble.
2013 a4 6spd, 97,000 miles stage 2 IE tune with all the recommended supporting mods. My OEM diverter valve was not bad or going bad with the extra boost made driveability not very smooth and boost would take longer than expected to rebuild, After the installation, shifting is not as much of a "throw you through the windshield" feeling, it holds boost longer between shifts and makes cruising at lower speeds more smooth. when you at that midline level where it builds boost then lets off and builds lets off even though you're at the same throttle position. hardly noticeable with this installed. Hard acceleration feels more linear and holds boost better than stock. I wish this was my first upgrade it is worth its weight in platnium.
Night and day difference as far as performance goes. My MK6 GTI is IE stage 2 and I had issues with check engine light and boost leaks. Once I put the DV+ in all my issues went away. And it came days early! Super fast shipping is a plus!
Installation was effortless and the included thumbscrew Allen bolts are a godsend. Noticeable improvement in turbo lag and throttle response as advertised, and the valve makes way cooler noises than stock! 2013 Mk6 Golf R, manual, stage 1.5
Definitely feeling an improvement with boost through the rpms and noticed a “tighter and cleaner” turbo sound. I installed this a few weeks after installing IE cai and IE turbo muffler delete. I definitely noticed sound differences and stronger feeling after diverter valve install. Awesome. Loving it and was easy to install.
