A completely useless device which I bought to make large numbers of stick-on labels for boxes and packets of mechanical spares. The user instructions in the coloured 12 page booklet are unfollowable. I bought it following advice from the internet to replace a very old Pritt device. Please take this useless device back and advise me of a replacement. Whatever labels come out of the machine must stick to paper, cardboard, metal and plastic, colours and sizes of printwork should be variable. M Barrington

WE use our label maker a ton in our commercial building. Especially to label conduit and circuits in electrical panels. I wish this stuff was a little cheaper, considering how much we go through in a year, but it prints clearly, and the labels stick well.

I checked different websites for my label tape. Label Value had the best price by far. I also needed my items asap, and Label Value sent them to me right in time. It made a huge difference to my team for this emergency situation. I'm going to order all my tapes from Label Value from now on.

For some reason the Dymo cartridges have gone to crap in the last couple of years. They jam up frequently, the black tape comes broken and doesn't feed back into the cartridge as it should. This has happened over and over again lately. These are too expensive to have so many fail on our printers.
For the most part no complaints. it sticks pretty good. I say pretty good because I can peel it off. I would say sticks excellent if I can't peal it off. the Label doesn't stick well to come CAT6 cable jacketing. other than the backing irritatingly hard to peal off. no complaints. the 1/2 label is very easy to peel off.
I am using this with a Dymo Rhinopro 6000 unit. The environment is in a corporate IT setting and server rooms. The primary use of the 1/4" (Width) is for small items such as under network ports, labeling items, etc. The labels really do stick very well. They are not good to cable labels, I would prefer the self-laminating tape instead. The backing is split down the middle but is rather hard to peel off. I also have learned to keep the cassettes either in the box or machine. Once the carbon paper comes out of the cassette it is impossible to feed back in. There are tiny plastic guides that can break as well, causing problems with the cassette.
I used this tape to label keys on my key ring. After a month in my pocket, labels are still mostly on the keys but all the writing is worn off. I guess you can say that the adhesive is permanent, but a bunch of blank labels don't do you any good.
It's a major pain to peel the backing off of these. I've gone through two rolls and thought it would just take me time to get the hang of it, but that hasn't happened. It's still very difficult, and I often end up mangling the ends of the label a bit while I'm picking at it trying to get the backing off. I also have a Brother label maker, and their labels are much easier to peel (there are other things I prefer about the Dymo, which is why I keep using it, but the difference is noticeable). Other than that, the labels work well (look good, stick well to the surfaces I'm using them on).
The fabric tape leaves gummy residue on the head necessitating frequent cleaning to the tape will come out of the feed point. Does not last very long either outside! After 3 weeks it pealed off of fiberglass and was almost unreadable. Now using the plastic tape fairing much better in the elements after 2 months. Not having to clean the head at all using the Plastic tape. I am almost through the entire 5 yards of the 3/4 in.
These are the best labels that I have used. The back tape is split so it is easy to remove and stick it on to whatever. I have the nice labeler and it is great for using on wire closets.
