The fit is precise, deep snow or water not a problem with their Gore-Tex membrane, and their innovative stretch fit lacing enclosure system is spot on. Their POMOCA outsole tread gives great feedback and provides traction and safely.Fit wise I am a US 10 men all day and if you are going to be wearing heavy socks I definitely recommend going up ONE Full size at least. They fit tight as they should being a performance shoe. So keep that in mind and order up one size from your everyday summer shoe. Enjoy.

The fit is precise, deep snow or water not a problem with their Gore-Tex membrane, and their innovative stretch fit lacing enclosure system is spot on. Their POMOCA outsole tread gives great feedback and provides traction and safely.Fit wise I am a US 10 men all day and if you are going to be wearing heavy socks I definitely recommend going up ONE Full size at least. They fit tight as they should being a performance shoe. So keep that in mind and order up one size from your everyday summer shoe. Enjoy.

I expected good shoes and the truth is that they are even better than what I thought. Super light and beautiful, comfortable and excellent grip, I have tried them on very technical terrain and I did not slip even once: on rock, loose stones, dirt, a marvel. I did not find any fault. I love that you can save the laces! Of course, you have to take into account that a small size, in asphalt running shoes I make a 37.5, in vans or converse shoes a 36 and in trail shoes the sportiva a 37.5 and for this brand I have to take the 38, I they look great! Delighted with the purchase and I will surely repeat with other colors.

Great solid fit. Runs small get a full size larger than you normally would.
They are beautiful and light. However, even one size bigger was way too small, I could not even fit in. I should have ordered two sizes bigger.
Went up a whole size from 10.5 to 11.5 and it was still too small. Started with a size 11 based on comments. Sent back and got a 11.5. Still too small ! Toe box is tight and I have regular size feet width. I recommend trying them on in a store before purchase.The fit and feel when running: besides toes being crunched. The forefront feels flat on pavement, shoe runs hot due to the Goretex, heel strike is great. I wouldn't recommend for road running but it felt good in gravel - grass and loose rock. Hills were a blessing because my foot slid back in the slipper and my toes weren't banging the toe. I don't give up so will be trying a size 12 ! I'm always a 10.5 ...
I have a pair of Dynafit Alpine shoes in a size US 12 and they fit my narrow and pointy foot well. However, the upturned front of this Ultra 100 shoe, combined with a stiff upper due to the Gore Tex lining, made this shoe about a half-size shorter than my Alpine shoes. My toes hit the end. Had I known, I would have ordered these in a 12.5. But Backcountry.com doesn't carry the 12.5, only the 13. I returned them for a refund and purchased a pair of Scarpa trail runners that I hope fit my skinny, narrow feet.
The best I have ever had. This is my second pair. Light, very comfortable.
