Created for long distances: the Dynafit Ultra 100 is a men’s trail running shoe, ideal for distances beyond 42.195 km, performing exceptionally on all terrains. Most ultramarathon shoes have a common issue: while they are very comfortable and well-cushioned, they are often too heavy, lacking in precision, and fall short in agility. To reach the podium, however, you need a shoe that delivers it all. That’s why the new Ultra 100 was developed in close collaboration with top athletes on the DYNAFIT team. The result is a shoe that perfectly balances comfort, traction, and outstanding energy return, helping you reach the finish line in record time. Despite its spacious volume and a height exceeding 30 mm, the Ultra 100 offers excellent grip and precision from the first to the last kilometer. The 6 mm drop was chosen based on preferences of high-level ultra runners. For the outsole, the designers used Vibram Megagrip, considered the ultimate in race performance. For the first time, the Ultra 100 features new Vibram Traction Lugs. This innovative 4 mm lug design ensures improved traction and perfect grip, providing stability and precision on any terrain. The cushioned midsole offers great lightness in running, with minimal weight and high responsiveness. The new material is 20% lighter than a traditional EVA midsole and returns over 10% energy. The anatomical heel construction and Heel Preloader provide solid, secure support, enhancing stability and optimal control, while reducing stress on the Achilles tendon. The rocker shape of the sole allows for a dynamic, smooth stride, ensuring agility even in the final kilometers, when legs are fatigued. The Ultra 100 features classic lacing, perfectly adapting to individual needs. The seamless tongue construction prevents pressure points, and laces can be securely stored in the elastic pocket.
