The cord is a great length, which easily attaches to the unit and I don’t feel it gets in the way.I was a serious doubter in desperate need of help with my wild and frizzy hair and found it in the Dyson Corrale. My hair stays smooth and feels so soft and healthy until the next wash. I tend to touch my hair up for just a few minutes every day, which maintains the silky appearance.

I bought this to match my sonic hairdryer. The aesthetic is just gorgeous. The charging dock and wireless function is really hand when using it to curl hair as there are no wires to get in the way. I have fine hair but a lot of it and this straightener does a good job. I will say though my other straightener from a well known brand (the platinum plus version) actually performs better because it gets hotter but this one creates better curls. My hair isn’t very long so a few passes are enough which means I’ve never ran out of charge and while I’m managing sections I pop it back on the dock and it stays on charge so it’s always ready to use. Overall a yes it’s good enough but for the price point you’re better off with the rival brand if you want really sleek hair.

I already own an airwrap (had it 22 months) and have been blown away by it so I finally caved. Bought the corrale around 4 weeks ago from first use it didn't dissapoint at all. It took the first 2 attempts to get to grips with how to grip the plates properly so it'd run through my hair smoothly. If its tugging or pulling hair out youre not using it correctly, now i know how to use it it glides through my thick, curly hair like butter. I did however experience curl hold issues the first 4x which I didn't have with the airwrap. I have needed to use high heat for now. Voluminous waves, curls and sleek unlike regular straighteners that completely flatten the hair. Battery life isn't great to be fair but I've not had it run out on me yet. I put it back on the stand inbetween sections and a whole head I've still got over a quarter battery left. The corrale works amazingly well alongside the airwrap also. If you want to achieve even more bounce, volume and movement use the round brush attachment to dry then the corrale to add waves, curls etc. If you're having second thoughts and are after a straightener that achieves the best results fast, less damaging and luxurious GET IT. One major plus is dysons customer services I've had great experiences with them so far.

Bought these as a Christmas present to myself and really want to love them but just can't. Apart from the cordless there are no pros for me. I have expansive hair extensions and been using these no more than twice a week on them on the lowest heat setting and everytime I do you can actually see all the hair snapping so I end up with a pile of snapped hair all over me. The extensions are now ruined and I have had to buy a new set. Annoyed I didn't realise sooner as outside the money back guarantee. For the price of these I am so disappointed. I have the airwrap which I love so was hoping for something similar quality for these. I always try not to apply any pressure as it states and yet still the hair pulls out.

I attempted to raise this substandard item with the company, they telephoned me ONCE, during my clinic hours. I explained to them that I am a doctor and cannot take calls during the day. They assured me that they would call me back after 4.30 and I have heard nothing since despite my plentiful email requests to discuss this matter further.When I had bought it I did consider also purchasing the hairdryer too, I am so glad I didnt because if it is as bad as this item I would have just been throwing good money after bad.I can only say to Mr. James Dyson, I am a doctor and therefore do not attempt to fix cars, you make the world's best vacuum cleaners, perhaps you ought to stick to what you are better at because this product is utterly unfit for purpose.
I’m on my third Corrale straightener. The first two ripped my hair out, most unpleasant. This third model seems better. It does still make an odd noise when straightening, almost a crunching, but I no longer have tugging/breakage caused by the straightener. I have quite fine hair, and it is coloured, so this may be why I have had issues, but I was shocked at the breakage. I was refused a refund as I’d gone out of the 35 days by the time the replacement model arrived, but was given this replacement which does seem better. It was a very expensive purchase; I have the hairdryer and other products eg hoover- the issues I had shocked me and I would never have expected.It heats quickly and you can use on or off the cord.
