I am generally a fan of Dyson products and I purchased this Pure Hot and Cool heater believing it would be worth the high price tag. The product looks good and has a good mobile app to control it.Unfortunately within 3 days of gentle use, the product failed and flashed up a warning triangle error which could not be cleared.After spending a huge amount of time on hold with the Dyson helpline, I was finally advised that the product needed to be returned and replaced. The app/LCD display also provides details on the Filter life, and after a few weeks of use now it is still showing as 100%. The Heat/Cool function has worked well in small-medium rooms. It took the chill out of the air in a bedroom in Hot mode, and is able to cool you down, but it is worth noting that is a fan an not an air conditioner so it won't cool/chill a room down like an air conditioner would. There is a breeze is generated by the machine, as you would expect from a fan. However the machine had an added feature of being able to change the airflow direction and ventilate airflow to the reverse of the machine. This is great when you want to purify the air without the airflow. Overall, its a great air purifier with the added benefit of HotCold.

For a product that sells at $899 it should be performing like a high calibre gas heater/log fire however, nothing could be further from the truth. It tries to live up to its brand name and advertising features by appearing to be very contemporary and high end however, it fails dismally. Despite having all of the settings set as high as possible given how cold it is here at the moment, all it can offer is a pitiful whiff of luke warm air and that's only if you stand directly in front of it.
