You can see the change in setting with the lights on the unit going from red-orange-yellow to show less or more heat output. This automatic changing of temperature gives me that peace of mind that this styling tool is preventing the type of damage Iâve been trying to avoid.I have no experience with the new wave + curl diffuser, but this has become the go to attachment for my wife. She says the way this styles and dries her hair is better than anything sheâs tried before to the point she even uses it to style my daughters hair.At the end of the day, this hair dryer is a game changer. There are more features and attachments I havenât even mentioned in this review, but like all Dyson products, this is in a class of its own.

I thought I would never replace my old Dyson, but since I started using the Nural that is the one I am going to stick with.I have to say, Dyson just did, once again, what they do best: to improve on what was already perfection. So I finally decided to buy the new supersonic in this special edition color that looks nice once it was time to replace my old dryer and I absolutely do not regret it one bit. The colors are absolutely beautiful in this vinca blue and rose gold tone, and the presentation case is quite nice in the vinca blue as well. Being that itâs a dyson, it has an amazing motor inside to power the dryer, as well as dysons really cool air multiplier technology, not to mention it just looks super cool with the hollow end on it. Itâs also far smaller than any other dryer, making it easier to work with. I absolutely love the way the attachments are magnetic and very easily and simply change out, and it also allows you to rotate any of the attachments however much you like so you can get the best angle and most ergonomic grip to tend to any part of your head/hair. The 12 different settings are really cool and helpful as well (thereâs 3 speed settings and 4 heat settings that you can each set individually, as well as a dedicated cool shot button you can press at any time regardless of the heat setting you have it on to either set your hair style once finished or if you have a sensitive scalp and the heat is burning you and you need a quick break to cool off) I also love all the attachments so much, both for their individual functions as well as the way dyson made them so that they always stay cool and allow you to touch and grab and change them out at any time. I seriously I no idea how they managed to make the attachments heat proof like that, but itâs a great and held up feature for using this dryer, as youâll most likely end up using multiple attachments every time you use it. And youâve probably noticed the way theyâre making a big deal out of the new flyaway attachment, but I can assure you that itâs warranted because it truly is every bit as impressive and innovative as they make it out to be. Yes, it looks a bit silly on there at first and it can be a bit awkward learning to use it for the first time, but within the very first ten seconds of using it for the first time ever, youâll immediately see why dyson is so proud of it, because it does every single thing they claim it will and works as perfectly as they say and is as easy to use as they say. I thought itâd be an attachment Iâd never use tbh, but itâs became an absolute must use attachment every time I use the dryer now because of how well it works. You literally can use just that one attachment alone to straighten your hair as well as their flat iron does, and it absolutely does hide all the flyaways and smooths your hair perfectly. It also does attract your hair just like they claim; idk how it does it, especially because thereâs air blowing out of it, but it legit attracts your hair to it like a magnet and pulls the longer hairs in tighter to cover any flyaways. Itâs a genius attachment. Also can be used to give a bit of shape to the ends of your hair if you want. Itâs seriously super cool and I highly recommend buying that attachment if you have an older supersonic that you got before that attachment was created. Itâs truly the best dryer on the market, but the attachments make it even better and allows it to do so much more, and it also is a beautiful work of art like all other dyson products. And again, itâs so much smaller than other dryers, making it far easier to work with and less prone to your arms getting tired from holding it up above your head for a while since itâs much shorter and doesnât have to be held as far away as other dryers, and itâs far more lightweight and perfectly balanced too, further helping ergonomics on it. If youâre on rhe fence about it, just go ahead and get it; I promise you wonât regret it and youâll wish you got it sooner. Itâll make drying and styling your hair so much easier and faster and better and youâll get that perfect salon style every single day with this product. Not to mention the fact that itâs got a two year warranty like all other dyson products, even if you donât buy it from dyson. Just register it with its serial number on the dyson site or MyDyson app (which also has lots of cool helpful features for dyson owners and I highly suggest the app too) and itâll start your warranty as well as give you the owners manual for your product. It easily allows you to make a warranty claim, should you have an issue with your device, and it also easily lets you buy additional parts for your product, such as additional attachments or filters, presentation cases, stands, etc. Oh and also, if you buy any dyson product and register it to start itâs warranty, dyson also sends you exclusive 20% off coupon codes. They sent me 2 separate 20% off codes during December that I could use on almost any dyson product (which were already on sale for the holiday season) and they do that for all dyson owners a few times throughout the year. I just wish Iâd have gotten the code before buying this supersonic because I couldâve gotten it for such a good deal đŠ but itâs still absolutely worth every single penny I spent on it, despite paying full price before they went on sale in December. Iâm now seriously considering buying an airwrap just because of how well the supersonic is!

It also comes with a bunch of different attachments used for styling your hair and they also have added intelligence that remembers your styling preferences and adjust to your preferred airflow and heat settings. It also has pause detects which is so useful because if you put the Dyson down the machine will automatically switch off the heater which is a great safety feature. The Dyson itself is small and lightweight and the topaz color is just beautiful! This will be the new dryer I use after washing my hair hands down and Iâve already packed it for a trip Iâm going on because I love it so much and it was small enough to take! I have had this product for a couple of days now and I am thoroughly impressed! I really enjoy the heat control feature. Typically I burn my scalp by getting too close on a high setting so the fact that the supersonic automatically adjusts the heat is amazing! I also suffer from psoriasis and am typically worried styling my hair will cause a flare up but I haven't noticed any flare-ups at all! I have mainly used the fly-away attachment and I am pleased with the results. Normally my hair is very frizzy and puffy after blow drying which is the reason for me not owning one until now. I found that the supersonic dried my hair fast and didn't leave me looking like a lion. I was very very excited about the defuser however I didn't have much luck with this attachment. I put this down to user error rather than the product itself. I had very beautiful curls underneath and at my roots but the top layer of my hair was fluffy, this could be due to damage but the defuser attachment seemed to try and blow my top layer out of it rather than let me define my curls. Sections like the roots or bottom layers which don't have anywhere to blow were very defined and beautiful. I think more practice will resolve this issue. I love that the machine recognises when I put it down and stops! I have the Airwrap and I am a culprit for leaving it blowing on the bench whilst I section out my hair, it was nice to have it stop. In comparison to my Airwrap, I feel the Supersonic created a longer-lasting style. I love my Airwrap but my frizzy, curly hair means the beautiful blowout I achieved is basically gone by the time I step out the door. I found that my hair was straight and voluminous all day with the Supersonic, something that is unheard of for me. Overall, this is a great product if you care about your scalp and hair health but still want to feel fabulous and styled! Definitely recommend!

Itâs a lifesaver for my daughter and me, catering to our very different hair types (thin/straight and thick/wavy/curly) with its smart attachments that remember our last used settings. Yes, you read that right! It memorises the settings for each attachment. So, no more fiddling around trying to remember what worked last time and since my daughter and I use mainly different attachments, it works out so well for us.The âalways coolâ setting is a godsend! My daughter used to use a sieve (yes, a kitchen sieve!) with a hair dryer to try and get the defined curls look. But with the dome-mode diffuser, she gets those results without the awkward DIY solution. Revolutionary!My personal hero is the flyaway attachment. After some light straightening, it's my secret weapon against the evil flyaways, it gives my hair that polished look with minimal effort.The storage box it comes with, is giving real luxury vibes while being so conveniently practical. I keep my comb, hair clips and couple of scrunchies in there too.It's an investment, sure, but one that pays off in ease, efficiency, and, let's be honest, a bit of envy from my friends, hehe.

If you are anything like me, and usually fry your hair with the highest heat settings, this will prevent you from doing that without compromising the ability to actually dry your hair in the same or less time than usual. As someone going through the fun phase of postpartum plus new twin pregnancy, I deal with copious amounts of hair loss, my own version of confetti. Dry scalp from heat exposure exacerbates hair loss, which I would guess this new amazing piece of technology would be great at preventing from happening.
