After a few days, I can say that apart from a couple of curious glances, there were no rractions from the British public. Nobody in London cares.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the adjustable magnetic face mask that delivers filtered air is easy to take off and pop back on. It also features a clever hinge that allows to use FaceID on the iPhone without taking the mask off completely. The headphones are surprisingly light for their volume.Every physical aspect is exactly the way it should be in this product. Other than deeper software integration with iOS (likely impossible without working directly with Apple), I can hardly think of what could be done better.

Getting to the sound quality this is very good, when making a phone and listening to music and noise cancelling is excellent. Device connection, seems to have 2 connections on Bluetooth which I found a little odd, I think one maybe to the app and the other to the device your using to listen from, once you set up this wasn’t a problem, Phone calls are very clear and easy to control with the button on the right ear piece, which also controls the volume, it can also open Siri on iPhone and can change to the last or next track, pause and play, this is very easy to use. They are very comfortable to wear they don’t feel heavy on the head and cover the ears with not too much grip. It is easy to attach the visor, it simply clicks into place very easily. I have tried the air purifier briefly and will hopefully get a chance to put this to good use. I found it quite easy to set up to the dyson app, which gives you the air quality and lets you know when the filters need changing. The amount of battery life of the headphones is also shown in the app. In the app had a list that gives you the option for troubleshooting, device setting, how to use. You can also shop for parts and join the dyson community.I would definitely recommend going and trying these out! I don’t think you will be disappointed!

Good sound and nice fresh air, but…
25 May 2023

I have found the battery life to be abysmal. I have found them connected to my iPhone automatically even after I turn them off, so I have to leave them plugged in all the time otherwise when I go to use them the battery is low even though I charged them then unplugged them. I am just using them to listen to music while I recline heavily in my living room. So because my recliner has a USB port, I can leave them plugged in while using them so the battery stays above 20% and the air visor stays turned on. I like the sound quality, the noice cancellation and the fresh air visor works great. The headphones are too tight on my big head and become uncomfortable after an hour or more. They still don’t sell replacement air filters on their website, which is troubling. I ... MoreI have found the battery life to be abysmal. I could have returned them for full credit but decided to keep them. If I ever bring them on an airplane I would definitely bring the cord I got with the copper model (that I got to keep after I returned them cause the left ear cup had a malfunction where I heard feedback, but the new Silver model they sent me works fine). If not on airplane, having a secondary battery in your pocket to keep the headphones powered up would be a necessity if you want more than an hour or two of music and air filtration. So weak battery, too tight on my head, no replacement filters for sale yet, and the air visor is a bit too close to my face even when fully extended. If you try to adjust the earphones by moving them forward they will keep turning off. The air visor needs about half an inch of additional extension for people with big noses like (apparently) me. I have a bi-valve (like a C-pap but it also breathes out for you) next to my recliner that I can’t use because I controls my breathing so much that I actually become out of breath and end up taking it off. This Dyson headphone allows you to breathe normally and the air is fresh. When you combine the fresh air with music and relax, it creates an environment that I was and am willing to pay $1000 for, even with its imperfections. I don’t want to give it up. I wore the original copper pair in public on May 4th and had at least 5 kids in different groups look at me inquisitively and I uttered May the 4th , I mean the force, be with you. These are going to generate some strange looks and comments in public, and I do plan to wear them in airports, on airplanes and other places I haven’t figured out yet, but for now it’s just on my recliner.

I knew about these the better part of a year before Dyson released them. I immediately put myself on the mailing list to be notified when they were ready to ship. I got the model with all the included trimmings. I use these not only for flights, but many times in general walks and on outdoor projects when I am working. I am used to large headphones and the ones I used prior are AKG N90Q's - those are the same size and heft as the Dyson Zone. It's going to be a fool's errand to try and sell you on the audio because we all hear differently. Our ear are constructed differently, and some of us have hearing loss. Our ear are constructed differently, and some of us have hearing loss. Many come from cheap products or "earpod" style headsets that can color the sound, and as they are used to that style/sound of product and then move to this product, their ears often times will not like the new sound from a different style headphone, so people will complain without realizing this. I use many different over the ear headphones and don't use earpod style phones, and being that part of my career is in music production, I take audio very seriously more so than the average consumer who may pick up these headphones, and I can say, I really am impressed with what Dyson have done here. Despite the size they are comfy -- like having marshmallows on the sides of your head -- and the sound reproduction is clean, roomy and sits well in your head. The noise cancelling is also on par with today's ANC headphones. The fit and finish is Dyson all the way.An improvement from me would be better battery life when the purification is active in the middle and high modes. I understand Dyson technicians had limitations and only had so much space and weight, plus you can charge them whilst on the go so that is major benefit!Dyson never said this was designed for Corona or any virus like that -- it was designed well before the pandemic, so it is not fair to knock the system because of this. Its air and sound purification only.As some reviewers have motioned, if you are worried about people looking at you, then do not get these. They will stand our and demand attention! This should also be obvious just by looking at the product! I can say I have had people ask me what they were, and where to see it in person, so there is some interest in these out there.I can go on and on about this system. The air is provides smells sooooo goooood, and the entire system has worked well. There have been a couple of firmware updates so Dyson seem to be making it better over time.If Dyson ever make a version 2, I will be in line to get it!I definitely recommend if you are on the fence!

I had become an bluetooth inear headphone user but the problem of them falling out and losing them was always paramount on my mind when using them, especially in crowded outdoor spaces and had been considering overear headphones. These definitely hit the mark, if you are wearing something obvious, do it with style! The blue colour is defintiely rich and adds to the striking nature. The headphones paired easily with my phone and the app added that extra sense of quality. Overall the build quality and design is solid, reliable and should last forever with good care, which the stylish storage case should ensure. As regards to the added filtration option, I was initially sceptical. However, never one to dismiss an idea I tried it! Sat on a plane or train, it seems it would have merit in helping deal with a closed ventiliation system. Where I could see myself enjoying the filtration system most is sat outside on a hot Summer's day enjoying the cool breeze across my face whilst relaxing with my favourite music. Overall a well considered and implemented design. Well done!

I home educated my now 18 year old & Dyson has been part of that in sending parts with worksheets with a prepaid label (from when my child was 5 over the years) so children can understand technology, design and science. This is relevant for this review as I have an insight in advancement, detail & perfection required before Dyson release products. I’ve been following the Headphones online for the past few years, noted delays in launching purely so Dyson would ensure it is the best.Firstly I received updates with a seemless delivery; the packaging is environmentally friendly with everything recyclable. The box is beautifully lined with a circular steel lock. The visor comes with a velvety pouch. Included is the usb c charger and a cleaning brush. In the packaging there was a set of filters and manual with a set up instruction sheet.I downloaded the Dyson App which immediately connected and then gave screen prompts. The app is easy to to set up & navigate and states what air quality is. I am sure Dyson will add to the app and do hope they add useful information and features such as air quality control using location and measuring various pollutants, pollen, being a substitute for N95 etc. However, being a unique product they are still the best worldwide. I know so much has gone into the R&D having seen Frank their lung robot in action. The headphones themselves seem heavier than others but as they are designed engineered based on the ergonomics and balance of a horses saddle with even balance and comfort I could wear them all day without any discomfort. The weight is evenly distributed. I am petite- 42kg and had another leading brand which I returned due to getting headaches. The Dyson Zone could not be faulted. The smallest size was perfect for me and snug. The ear pads are very thick, soft, cosy and spongy. The sound is pristine. I am an online Coach for trauma and hearing every breath is crucial in knowing when I am to speak and what I am to say. I cannot emphasise how crisp and clear sound was which benefited me and more importantly, my clients. Most other brands are mainly plastic whereas the Zone is high quality metal band in the trademark colour, with a padding underneath; steel ear cup on the outer sides were like cute colanders. The visor attaches magnetically and easily. They are adjustable. They can easily be removed. Using the Air Purification caused the charge to last 4 hours as opposed to the 50 hours in using stand alone headphones.I used them in Central London, SW London so in busy areas and with noise cancelling on I was in my own world and couldn’t even hear a crane or the normally deafening roadworks which truly surprised me. I had to check if the machinery was switched on by turning off noise cancelling to check! The Zone will also be of benefit to those with sensory noise issues. My 18yr old tried them (after me purchasing the then best available pair of a different brand only 6 weeks ago) and said she originally thought I was exaggerating my praises of the Zone and is now looking into reselling hers & add the difference to get the Zone. She adjusted them as the is a 50 kg without (as Hatter from Alice in Wonderland would say) my pimple size head). Her verdict is the Zone sound is no much crisper and clearer and they can be worn for so much longer without any discomfort. We both have long hair and some other brands caught our hair when we took them off so I will add these are also a must for Airwrap users. At least now after using the Airwrap we can be assured the Zone will keep our perfectly styled hair looking just as salon finished when wearing and taking off the Zone. With Dyson products are not upgraded regularly such as other brands. For example their hairdryer has not changed and the Airwrap has had one update. My own hairdryer is almost as pristine as the day purchased. I feel assured Zone is a long lasting investment and is a wellbeing, leisure, professional work product. They also hold values with awareness of Gender Pay gap; Modern Slavery;,Sustainability.I am happy to answer any other questions, opinions truthfully. Dyson are welcome to contact me.

I was really excited when I first heard about this product a while back and the quality the headphones did not disappoint. The headphones had the nice heavy feeling to them which was a plus because it doesn’t make them feel cheap or flimsy . The headphones and the attachment for your face is all completely adjustable which was a plus for me because I have small ears it really helped adjusting the settings and making them comfortable. The noise cancellation feature worked amazing compared to other high end headphones I currently own . I tried them on while we had a bad thunderstorm with hail and I could barley hear the storm outside. The air purification fan feature on these headphones were more than I expected . I was still able to listen to music and barley notice the fan setting as well as without it . It felt like having a Dyson fan in your face. I did link them to the Dyson app and you can check the quality of the air wherever you take the headphones and that helps because you’re able to see how bad pollution has gotten in some areas. The headphones also connect to your phone so I was able to use my phone and listen to music and it even has a toggle button to skip music or adjust the volume and the quality is just as expected as all Dyson products ( great) . The only downside to this product was the top support to these headphones. I wish they had more support / cushion on the crown of your head because since they do have that weight to them it does hurt after a while. The battery life on the headphones are pretty impressive ( I actually forgot to turn them off and after almost a whole day and half they were still on !). I liked how the face attachment was removable so if you just want to use them for music or a call you can and then just attach them right back ( they’re magnetic) . It did come with a case which was similar to the one available for their air wrap but it has a attachable strap to carry it with you which I liked .Overall this product is great, It’s a innovative product just like the Dyson airwrap and the straightener it’s new products that are so interesting and worth the price because of the quality .

[Rewarded Review] Beats with Breezes

I don't know what I thought I was getting myself into, but this is better than I would've imagined. Starting with the headphones. The audio response is spectacular. I can adjust the EQ to get a well rounded, yet punchy bass, or tune it back to get nice and balanced tones for jazz or classical. I've listened to a few audio tracts that contain spatial audio and I was floored. While the unit overall does feel quite heavy in my hands, somehow I didn't experience any discomfort after wearing them for about 2 hours straight. The ear cushions are also very comfortable with anime padding. The noise cancellation was pretty breathtaking in a few environments I was in. Walking down the sidewalk next to traffic, each car was nothing more than a whisper, if that. Walking down the sidewalk next to traffic, each car was nothing more than a whisper, if that. I can't wait to test it out on a flight. With air purification I can say that my number one fear was that the air was going to be directed towards my eyes and cause them to become irritated or dry out. That issue doesn't exist at all. In fact, the airflow on high speed oddly feels very comforting and relaxing.Walking around outside here in dusty Arizona I can say the microclimate effect was striking. I am generally pollen sensitive and it doesn't take much for me to start sneezing or coughing outside. In fact, as I was starting to have a bout, I turned on purification and within a minute or so I felt completely normal. During a light jog the airflow did increase which was encouraging. Conversation mode also worked extremely well and I didn't feel like I was yelling nor did I have any issues hearing what anybody was saying to me even with an inside voice. The air visor is relatively easy to disassemble and clean. From a price point perspective, this product's audience is definitely not your average middle class family, however I don't think it was intended to either at this stage. I'm curious to see how much replacement filters will cost and also what degree of life I get out of them, especially with primary use being in an era that is very dusty. The audience definitely feels like it's for individuals who live in desert regions like me or large city centers that are known to be heavily polluted such as New York. I could also see iterations of this product, sans audio, for vulnerable portions of the population who would benefit from a personal microclimate of filtered air.I'll look forward to seeing how widely this gets adopted and also what iterations come next.

[Rewarded Review] Exceptional Engineering but not perfect!

Was given this unit to provide honest feedback around a month back. Amazing product with technology and engineering that is exceptionally well knitted together. Compared it to Bang & Olufsen H95.These headphones are HEAVY and it’s mostly due air purifier technology but the head cushions are exceptionally well and provide good comfort. When the air purifier is on, you do hear the motor running while listening to music. Not sure if something about that can be done with software upgrades.I believe ANC could have been better given the price point of the headphones or hoping this too can be made better with software updates.I can completely see why it took 6 years to get a final product that is great for everyday consumers. Conclusion: since this is first product in this category for Dyson it’s an exceptional product but not perfect yet. I truly feel there is more potential in next iterations and prices to become lower or have a way for consumer to choose if they can opt out of air purifier technology in the headphones.
