Love this plane not for beginners, but I have an awesome group of guys willing to help me learn. I had to replaced the elevator and rudder servos before madden flight. I suggest ordering metal gear servos as was suggested to me. It requires 6 in all Also it should do fine on stock I only replaced mine due to my mishap with the ruder and a ceiling fan blade I thats why I had to replace the rudder servo and decided to change out the elevator while I was at it.

It took me over a year to find this plane in stock and it was well worth the wait. Out of the box to ready to fly was about 20 minutes. Pre-programmed setup file from SpektrumRC installed in about 5 minutes. This plane was a little twitchy djring the 1st flight but i added some expo and it flew like a dream the second time out. Recommended 3S battery last about 5 mins so im looking to upgrade. If your debating getting this plane, DO IT! You wont be disappointed.

This 1200 mm or 1.2 mm P-51 is everything they say it's cracked up to be I have no issues with it it is one of the best planes I have ever flown it does very well in both as3x and safe mode. I would recommend this to any intermediate pilot and experts to it's a great fun plane to fly does awesome with aerobatics as you would expect a P-51 to be. If you have any questions about purchasing this particular P-51 don't buy it. The only thing I don't like is it does not have a retractable tail wheel that is my only issue with this plane. Other than that it's great. I will find a tailwheel retractable for about a 1M P-51 and install it myself. Purchase one and have great times yourself.
1200mm EFLITE Mustang is a great plane, I have 2 of them, They fly great on 3s or 4s batteries I am very happy with mine and would recommend them!

This is a terrific RC plane! Together, my son and I own more than half a dozen of RC planes, and this is probably our favorite. For a warbird, the P-51D Mustang is surprisingly easy to fly, even with SAFE turned off. You still need a decent amount of speed to avoid stalling the plane, but not nearly as much as with the E-Flite P-47 Razorback (the other warbird we own and love). This is not a beginner plane, but a great first warbird. The flaps and retracts make flying this plane so much fun!
