Seriously a game changer. I've been so sensitive to noise especially if it's too loud. Haven't used this on a music event but I've tried it while watching a basketball game, and reading a book outside. This does not entirely block out sounds. However, it reduces background noise significantly while still able to engage conversations or focus on a task. The case it comes with also makes it very handy. Although, it would've been better if there's like a small compartment where I can safely put the Mute Filter if I prefer not to use it. Take note that the case they use is not yet the latest. Still good though! For the earplugs, the kit comes with different sizes and material (foam and silicone). Also comes with two mute filters, black and white. All in all, this is such a ... MoreSeriously a game changer. I've been so sensitive to noise especially if it's too loud. I saw an audiophile YouTuber who I trust compare these to his 500.00 custom fitted earplugs he wasn’t doing a commercial and he said he could barely tell a difference between the two. I’ve been a regular concert goer for 35 years and always wanted to get a set of custom earplugs. When I saw the audiophiles video I jumped on getting these. Last night was my first concert with them. They were amazing! The best concert hearing experience I’ve ever had. I saw Sunny Day Real Estate who go from soft to Loud over and over. I could hear every instrument equally clear. I could hear the singers voice crystal clear. It was literally like the volume of the show was turned down to a comfortable level. The soft parts of the singers were crisp and delicate. No more blunted muted shows from foam plugs. I wish I had these for the last 35 years!

I love these! I've been using these when someone else is watching tv and I want to read. They're good at filtering out background noise but I'm still able to hear if someone is talking to me. I also just tested these out at a concert and they were perfect! It took some getting used to because at first I thought I was singing along really loudly but when I took them out I realized I was singing at a quiet speaking volume. But after the first song I got used to it. It's nice that they're low profile and look like jewelry and I loved leaving the concert without my ears ringing. If you were debating between getting these vs the switch, I've found that these work best for me overall compared to the switch, which was difficult to switch between modes in a dark concert ... MoreI love these! Loops do exactly what they say they do: protect your ears from prolonged exposure from loud sounds. I purchased mine in anticipation for 2 back to back concerts night after night, and sure enough no ringing in my ears whatsoever. There is a bit of a loss in audio quality discernability when the sounds are at a lower volume (think, ambient music played at a concert before the main act etc.), but once the full force of the music began, it felt like I wasn't missing anything.I even ended up using them for sleeping a couple times due to a noisy environment. While they dd the trick, they aren't very comfortable to sleep with in if you're laying down on a pillow. On that note, by the end of the second night of wearing them for the concerts I attended, my ears were ... MoreLoops do exactly what they say they do: protect your ears from prolonged exposure from loud sounds. I never changed the default ear tips, so perhaps by going a size down or up would have solved this, but the default ones felt right from the get go with no discomfort until wearing them for repeated prolonged periods of time.Overall satisfied with the purchase. Never ended up using the "mutes" as I was happy with the noise reduction as it was. Not sure the science behind "loop" or how they differ from other earplugs, but I also have no desire to compare or try anything else because I an happy with these.
I can't believe these are less than $50! I've struggled with sensory processing disorder my whole life, yet grew up in a family of musicians and am constantly attending concerts. Before using Loop, I would dread the sensory exhaustion and the conflict of wanting to hear the live music I love so much yet leaving my senses overwhelmed the entire time. After using Loop for a few live concerts, even front row for some of them, and wearing them around Chicago/noisy train commutes, I'm still blown away by how precisely Loop can tone down the precise frequencies that trigger my SPD yet amplify voices and important noises that I still need to pay attention to. FWIW, I almost never give product reviews. Loop experience pros are definitely worth my time to give them a review. ... MoreI can't believe these are less than $50! FWIW, I almost never give product reviews. Loop experience pros are definitely worth my time to give them a review. Please consider buying these for any of the reasons people have bought them for in the other reviews, and especially if you struggle with SPD or sensory issues. For those who do not personally need them, Loop makes such a fantastic gift to a friend or family member who could have their everyday experiences enriched with these! My one gripe with these: the carrying case is just a little too small for the Loops to sit in. A year ago I received the original Loop Experience and lost them because the case would sometimes pop open no matter how carefully I tried to pack the Loops inside. But I love the product so much I went back and ordered the pros. If you plan to carry your Loops around pretty frequently, find a slightly larger case or container to keep them in. I got myself a small jewelry case to keep the pros in and that case does a far better job at securely holding the Loops in. Whatever substitute case you decide to put your Loops in, please test its protection by giving them a very good shake!
Bought these between concerts after the first one made my ears ring by the end of it. Went to the second concert and wore them the whole time; not only were they great for the music noise, but they were great in the lobby and the stadium beforehand when the crowdedness and general loudness of attendees was a little overwhelming. My girlfriend and I were delighted when we got back in our car at the end of the concert and could hear each other perfectly clearly without yelling. I don’t feel like my concert experience was diminished or the audio quality was reduced by using these earplugs. Absolutely a worthwhile purchase and worth the money. They did start to ache a little after about 2 hours of continuous wear, though, and I think that’s due to the plastic pushing ... MoreBought these between concerts after the first one made my ears ring by the end of it. They did start to ache a little after about 2 hours of continuous wear, though, and I think that’s due to the plastic pushing against the concha of my ear. My ear canal felt fine because of the silicone tips, but the plastic parts of the earplugs hurt a little bit after long-term use. I still recommend them to literally everyone who I think might benefit from them, but I add that as a possible disclaimer.
Honestly, I avoided buying these for about two years because they were so heavily advertised that I couldn't believe they were actually good. Instead, I tried nearly every brand of earplugs at Guitar Center, which ended up being more expensive—and with no return policy. I hated them so much that I resigned myself to the idea that I'd just have to accept being half-deaf one day, because there was no way I was going to use earplugs that sounded that bad. Which is pretty wild, considering that most of my hobbies revolve around music and sound engineering.Anyway, one of my friends decided to try a pair of Loops for fun and really liked them. He said the difference between these and his custom-molded earplugs was almost negligible. I was skeptical, but I decided to try them myself. Now, while I don't have custom earplugs to compare them to, I can say this: I'm so satisfied with my Loops that I don't see myself ever spending hundreds of dollars on something "better." These are amazing, especially compared to everything else at the same price point. I find myself using them way more often than I expected. I had no idea how much ear fatigue I was experiencing until I finally had some control over it.I'll admit, they're not perfect—no earplugs are. They do muffle sound slightly, but I actually find that useful when a mix has too much sibilance for my taste. So yeah, compared to everything else out there, these are a huge upgrade. This product is fantastic, and honestly, I wish it had been advertised to me more so I would have bought them sooner.
I have an active club /night life and earplugs are a standard part of my outfit. Ive used eargasm for a long time, other brands also. I was attracted to Loop because of the design and frankly, the marketing. I was excited when I received these in the mail. I tried on the small and medium tips and decided on the medium because I thought it was a good fit. Within a short time of putting them on at the club, sweating and dancing, the left earplugs disappeared into who knows where and my partner pointed to the right ones on the floor. They literally just dropped off my ear (because I was dancing?). Needless to say I was disappointed. I loved the style and they're expensive. Im 5'2, 115 lbs so Im pretty sure I would not have needed a large tip to fit but just to be sure, ... MoreI have an active club /night life and earplugs are a standard part of my outfit. They didnt fit that great. To note, there probably was no noticable difference in decibel drop which contributed to my not noticing they were gone. I will likely not purchase again. Is there a way to get my hard earned money back?
The clarity of the instruments and vocals is great but it cuts out too much sound (mutes were not in). At live events, the volume increases the vibe, when it's too quiet it lowers the energy you get from the show. Ideally, these would mute 50% less than what they do – just cutting the over-the-top volume that causes the tinnitus.Another unfortunate thing is that your own voice is so loud that if you sing along it drowns out the music. I couldn't imagine using these to sing live with a band. When I saw the Chili Peppers twice in Toronto, I did appreciate giving my ears a little break after big solos. I was able to enjoy the full volume show, only sacrificing the volume of a few numbers and I didn't have any tinnitus. Just make sure you pull them out between tracks. ... MoreThe clarity of the instruments and vocals is great but it cuts out too much sound (mutes were not in). I had my reservations when buying these but after wearing them for a few days, I think they're pretty great. They do everything they say they do: general noise reduction, especially for background noise and "hums" of electricity/cars/etc, but I can still hear most speech and some other noises within about a 10-20 ft radius of me. I wear them on my in-office days because I have ADHD/Autism and get overstimulated/distracted relatively easily, but work near the call center of our company. These earplugs effectively cut out all background noise of people taking calls while still allowing me to hear if my coworkers in my immediate vicinity say my name. Honestly, I feel like a totally different person after wearing these for a while--my brain has never been so blissfully ... MoreI had my reservations when buying these but after wearing them for a few days, I think they're pretty great. These earplugs effectively cut out all background noise of people taking calls while still allowing me to hear if my coworkers in my immediate vicinity say my name. Honestly, I feel like a totally different person after wearing these for a while--my brain has never been so blissfully empty (in a good way). I didn't think they would work for me but I can see myself using these instead of my AirPod Pros or over-ear noise-cancelling headphones for situations like commuting, shopping, concerts, events, and walking around town.My only drawback is predictably the occlusion. My issue is that my breathing and speech are really loud, and I can hear my head move (idk how else to explain it--it sounds like wooshing whenever I move my head. Maybe my hair brushing my ears? Dunno). I understand it's kind of unavoidable and I have found ways to lessen it (the foam ear tips, though less comfortable imo, do help the occlusion somewhat, and wearing the smallest size tip that fits my ears allows less air space between the plugs and my eardrums which reduces the echo of my own body noises). But if you're a frequent noise-cancelling headphone/earbud wearer like me, I feel like the occlusion effect tricks your brain into thinking you're wearing completely noise-cancelling earplugs (instead of noise-reducing), which sometimes throws my brain off (I get a little anxious wearing noise-cancelling headphones in situations where I might miss someone speaking to me, and sometimes catch myself with a little of that anxiety when I wear these, even though I can still hear everything I need to hear). Overall though I feel like I'm getting used to it and it may eventually not bother me at all. I already don't notice my breathing nearly as much after a day or two of wearing them pretty consistently.
