My daughter has sensitive ears. Years ago one teacher said she would be giving instruction but it seemed as if my daughter wasn't taking it in. I thought maybe she couldn't filter out the background noise. These help with that. She can hear the instruction with the back ground noise being turned down.

After being at a concert with my wife and seeing a lot of people with the Loop earplugs, we decided to give them a try after two nights of ringing ears. We bought them for ourselves as well as our 9 and 11 year old kids. The both found the smallest ear piece to be the most comfortable for them. We put them to the test for the first time by seeing Metallica and they worked great for all of us. It was a little odd at first and the kids complained a bit, but everyone adjusted quickly and we were all super thankful we had them because the music was so loud, we would have made it through 2-3 songs at most before having to leave due to the ear pain. I measured the db levels with my phone and it hit 105db. The earplugs are great! I've been using the adult earplugs for a few months and love them! When my daughter started complaining about the lunch room at school being overstimulating, i knew i had to check if Loop was making kids sizes! So happy they are! The only thing is that the tips don't go as small as i would hope. She's almost 7 and the xs are still a little too big for her ears. It seems like the small on these is the same size as an xs on the adult, so not a huge difference in size. But they still help her get through school without a crash, and shell grow into them, so im happy.

My 7-year-old was getting migraines (they run in the family for all the girls) during lunch time at school. She puts these in before lunch and doesn't get headaches, nausea, stomach aches. She can enjoy lunches again. We also use them at restaurants and busy places now and she is calmer and isn't always getting headaches/migraines and dealing with the anxiety from the loud noises.
My 6 year old may not be wearing his loops often, as it depends on how much he's willing to wear them on a given day, but he sometimes voluntarily takes them out & puts them on himself.Whenever he does decide to put them on, it makes him feel a lot more relaxed & calms him out, helps him focus. This is especially great for his hypersensitivity as loud noise like vacuuming usually makes him panic.Great product, would recommend! Would love to see more color variety.
The Kids ones seem to fit a little better as they have one size smaller for the tips. Which I found out that I have very small ears and need to have the smallest ones available. These help me in the classroom where I work because if you have ever been in an elementary classroom you would also know how loud it can get but with these I am able to block out much of the noise and still be able to help students. This also helps when I have a migraine and there is just to much noise I am able to put them in and get a good rest. These also help me when I am trying to focus on the assignments I have and or exams I am writing. No outside noise to distract this one. I have also shared what they are to other people that I work with and they now want to buy them and use them ... MoreThe Kids ones seem to fit a little better as they have one size smaller for the tips. Got these for my child (just turned 8) to use in the classroom and any other situation they're finding difficult. They like them but find they don't stay in and their ears get itchy. The loop part seems to be the same size as the adult version and it's tough to seat them well. Unfortunately they aren't using them much because of this. Unsure if the investment is worth it at this stage.
Easy to help my daughter put in, and she learned quickly how to use them herself. However, she said they didn’t make enough of a difference. I discovered they’re the same size as the adult ones that I have, so I put one set of my mute rings in hers, and she likes them more.I think it’s a big downside that, unlike the adult ones, they don’t have the foam tips or the mute rings included.
Great while they lasted! They seemed to help my 8yo with sensory-processing sensitivity, which was causing them to feel overstimulated and get frequent headaches. Unfortunately, the 8yo put them to the test, even with the magnetic lanyard, they did not stand up to the excitement of an 8yo during a scouts activity, and they were lost to the wild.
HOORAY! We are happy that there are ACTUAL kids’ sizes now, and my daughter doesn’t just need to use the teeniest setting of the extra tiny pack. The fun colors are a hit, although we wish there were even more fun colors to pick from. We would definitely buy them again. I’ve sent the link to several parents since we bought these.
