I am very happy with my purchase. It is a small bag with efficient wheels with maximum space given to packing capacity. When empty the case is super light. The only criticism I have is balance - once loaded it will not stand easily with the handle up, which one often does in security queues and when shopping. It has a tendency to fall forward which is annoying and can mean the handle catches other people or their bags. Not the end of the world but some better balance would be good.

This is my second Eastpak Tranverz. They are excellent cases and logically designed, so that packing clothes in the two separate compartments makes travelling and 'living out of the case' very easy and practicable. I used my previous Eastpak case over several years and more than 20 flights. The only reason that I ordered a new is because the immigration operatives at Miami airport decided to inspect my case, in my absence, and failed to reset the TSA lock correctly, rendering it unusable. However, I should thank them because I have now acquired one of the new colourways (black with bright green straps and buckles) and the lovely green interior makes packing and unpacking items much clearer than with my previous black lining. This is the second one of these I have bought this one for my daughter.I love the two parts to the case and the straps that make the capacity flexible. The colour choice is also good. I expect this to last for ages and serve for many trips in good condition because it was so well made.Buying from Aspen of Hereford was also a pleasure.
I have owned a tranverz for 15 years now and have subjected it to some pretty brutal treatment (internal zip stitching split- my fault). It has stood up to many trips long and short, and would love to continue, but I think I may have to upgrade. The wheels have disintegrated and there is no way to swap them out, as the construction is riveted, not screwed. I tried contacting customer service about a repair, but my messages went unanswered. Still, I would buy this case again, it is an absolute trooper.
I’ve had a carry on size Eastpak for several years. I was looking for something bigger and having looked at various makes/ options, I settled on the medium size Transverz rolling hold-all. It takes all I need for a 1-2 week holiday. I am very pleased. The two separate compartments mean that I can put shoes, wash bags, T-shirts, underwear etc. in the bottom and the top half has plenty of space for dresses, trousers etc.I like the fact that it is a 2-wheeler as I find I struggle with 4-wheelers on upward slopes or stopping them from doing their own thing when stopped on even a slight slope. Another benefit of the Eastpak is that it takes up less storage space than a traditional suitcase. Would definitely recommend it to others.
The medium sized bag is perfect for a weekend away. The two separate compartments keep things organised and secure. It can be compressed or expanded as needed but the base plate makes it sturdy enough to wheel easily. Having handles on 3 sides makes it easy to pick up to get up and down stairs and through barriers too. Basically, everything I need in a travel bag. Quick delivery too!
We bought this suitcase for our holiday. It got wet crossing two roads between the airport terminal and the hotel and back the next morning as it was raining. Didn't think anything of it until we arrived at our hotel destination. Our clothes on both halves were all damp/wet and where some items we wouldn't have washed together were in the case next to each other they are now watermarked with clothes dye. Absolutely worst start to a holiday. Incredibly disappointed by this product. Not what we expect from an Eastpak case. Ours was a burgundy colour not black.
Love the case, easy to pack with the two side, good handle clever lock system. Unfortunately the rubber or neoprene strip at the bottom back between the wheel was torn from top to bottom on its first use. Had to watch it come round the carousel with a large flap hanging off. Do not think the material is robust enough now having to claim off handler. Material should be much more tear resistant that it is at this price.
I already have a Tranverz Medium which has survived several long haul flights without any damage so bought a Tranverz Small for shorter trips. I think it can be used as cabin baggage. These are tough cases and are easy to manoeuvre. They hold a surprising amount due to the flexible construction. A worry free way to travel with luggage.
