Overall I think this was a good experience as an RPG style story game. If you like things like EarthBound/Mother nintendo games you should enjoy this.I dont feel it has a lot of replay value. You will play it once, and be satisfied with that. There is a lot of good content and story in the game to digest though. Some stuff is going to stick with you in this game. So take your time with this one. It is worth playing and experiencing.

very fun game and I personally thought the pacing was well done from what I played so far. the story seems solid at least as of the time being and I'm starting to care for the characters cuz if you don't care about the characters what's the point of even playing the game or any game for that matter? I still feel like this game has a lot to uncover even though it's if I'm not mistaken short or considered a short game but I highly want people to try this game out I do not think they will be disappointed. so to sum it all up so far so good and my backlog is insane but I'm going to get around to hopefully playing that game and beating it and I like it a lot. I have a feeling this game is also going to be rare in the future near future and especially farther on in the ... Been waiting on this for a while. Eastward is an incredible game to fill the 2D Zelda itch I've had for a while. The games fun, story's cute, and the art and music are excellent. The physical edition of the game is nothing special but it's still worth having in your collection. Overall excellent purchase. 100% worthwhile.
Bought it for myself... My wife grabbed it up and solved it yesterday. Had one crash right at the end which forced her to reply the end boss. Overall though she was very happy and enjoyed the game a lot. She did mention though that she has no idea what the story was supposed to be, and hopes I'll explain it to her one day.
Good indie game. Similar to earthbound in style but more like a watered down zelda in gameplay. Ambitious but doesn’t quite nail it. If you like indie games or snes games you’ll probably like it
Great game but grows a little long in the tooth by the end, it overstays its welcome by a few hours, but the very end picks things back up in an exciting way. If you can get through the longer/weirder chapters then it's certainly worth it!
Got this game for my son. He likes these unknown gems and so far it has been great. I watch him play and its worth buying and will be a classic when its all out of production. get it while you still can.
Fun action adventure game. A "road trip" adventure across a dying world to unravel its mysteries. Old school JRPG mini game Earth Born is seriously a game inside the game. Fans of Zelda style and Earthbound aethestics need to check it out.
As far as Indie Games are concerned this one is one of my most favorite ones, I've played so far in 2022. The story is very dark and mysterious but also has its comical moments. The 2D environments are colorful, beautiful, imaginative. The puzzle elements are great, and the music is fantastic. Some enemies are tricky and so it doesn't become a redundant hack and slash if you are to survive this harsh post-apocalyptic world. If I had to recommend a Zelda Link to the past type of game to play now, this would be it. GET IT NOW!
