I have had pain in achilles tendon for quit a while tried this wrap has definitely helped it's takin along time . I'm back to purchase more. They only last a couple months but if I don't wear it for a day the pain starts coming back. Like planter fascitis it takes lots of time to heel, be patient keep wearing it. My only complaint is they are expensive and only last awhile

Easy to put on and take off. Very comfortable, can sleep in no problem. Easily worn in shoes. Wish there would be some cushion under the heel, but a good product.
This is the 2nd time that I've purchased Heel Huggers after wear and tear of the 1st one (only one to a package). It's pretty effective in relieving mild heel pain and most, not all of the moderate heel pain. My shoe width is Medium so purchasing this item in a size Small is just right to provide the firmness and stability. The foam cushion at the top edge does fray after constant usage. If the manufacturer could bind the edge to prevent this, it would be a big plus.
This fits well- I wear shoe size 8-8.5. I can easily wear it under my socks. I wish there was slightly more padding under the heel- and although I don't think you are supposed- I put it in the freezer and it feels nice- although not for very long.
A lot of kids have heel pain when they grow and it causes a lot of problems in sports, etc. This helped my son so much! Way more than what the doctors told us to use. This pads the hole heel. He wears them all day to school, sports, etc. They have been a great investment for us! I have bought many as he wears them out, but the fact that he no longer has to take a daily ibeuprofin or limp around or miss sports is priceless. They lasted a lot longer before he started wearing them all day. If you know how to sew, usually what wears out is the stitching in the back and one could just stitch that up most likely from time to time.
The Heel Hugger helps with my heel problem - on one foot, but I really thought they would be packaged as a pair, like other shoe inserts. I was disappointed to find only one in the package. Kind of expensive for one. Plus, I've always been told, if you're going to use shoe inserts, you should use them in both shoes, so I never dreamed there would only be one.
I've been trying to find something that protect the rear area of my heel. This is the best thing I've found so far. Putting it in the freezer and then wearing it definitely soothes the pain and the gel pad also does a good job of protection. The coolness wears off within 30 minutes but the pad stills cushions well. Only problem is that the gel pad doesn't wrap completely around the heel. Only protects the left and right rear areas of the heel. I wish it wrapped completely around the back of the heel but it does work well for me.
I use these Heel Huggers to moisturize my heels. They are perfect for keeping they lotion/ointment on my foot as they do not absorb like a sock would. I like to wear them in the winter under my sock when I wear clogs too. I have been doing this for years.Previously I was able to buy these in my local Walmart and I while I don't remember what I paid, I am sure that I didn't pay more than $10. I foolishly assumed the price was per pair.The product is good, but not priced fairly
