I received a deluxe complementary sample of this fragrance from Hermes. I’m a huge fragrance collector I have close to 200 perfumes in my collection and countless samples. I was excited to try this scent from Hermes because I have nothing from the brand in my correct collection. This scent is perfect as we head towards summer and I especially love the bitter orange note! It’s one of those fragrances that makes you smile when you smell it. Long lasting and went to the gym one day when I was testing it on my wrists and it withstood hours of wear and sweat. Such a cute bottle too.

I am a big fan of the Hermès Merveille line. I have reviewed most of them and own a large bottle of Elixir de Merveilles, but somehow I have been able to neglect the review of the original... until today. Eau De Her Merveille is a light, tangy, woody scent centered on a beautiful salty amber accord. It has a distinctive orange note, but is far from the typical citrus freshness. Very similar to Elixir des Merveilles. It's lighter, fresher, and airier with a touch of tangy spiciness. Elixir is a fall/winter fragrance, while Eau is classified as a summer fragrance. I am absolutely inlove with this scent! The delivery was quick and seamless and i could hardly wait to open it. Generally, aquatic scents are not long lasting but this is 12 hours and if on clothes you will still smell it the next day. The opening is a fresh citrus burst that is smooth and slightly sweet, I detect a sweet juicy melon which carries through to the mid stopping the composition from being sharp and tangy. The base is a little woody but the most juicy and refreshing kind. It's definitely luxurious and refined and you can really smell the quality ingredients. Would definitely repurchase.

It’s a very pleasant fragrance that evokes the feeling of confidence, class, self reliance, sophistication in me. I feel it is perfect for every day wear , even to work when applied lightly . The opening of this perfume feels light, crisp, fruity. The dry down felt spicy, peppery, warm, and little woody . On the deep dry down, the fruity vibes were again noticeable. Beautiful, elegegabt, sophisticated

This is a beautiful, sophisticated scent. I adore it. I love it when you first spray it, but I love it even more once it’s dried. The amber is so captivating and warm. The scent is subtle and not overbearing. For those who love sophisticated and elegant scents, this is it. It does not have a granny sophistication. Just like a boss babe sophistication. This scent instantly uplifts my moods. I have received so many compliments today. This is a long lasting scent. Once it dries it’s a warm, citrus scent with a little bit of woodsy smell. Mesmerizing, warm and sexy. I don’t need an occasion to wear a parfume. For me having a parfume on me is essential and necessary. I need it. This one is super special. The fresh spritz is comforting, like a Sunday afternoon nap under the orange trees. Also refreshing, peppery and crisp. It lasts on my skin about 6 hours and the projection is pretty amazing. Luxurious!

I love anything by Hermes. I was really excited to receive a travel size of the Eau des Merveilles eau de toilette from Hermès Paris. The miniature glass bottle came with a string to create a necklace. The bottle also has stars on it like you were looking up a night sky during the day. Gorgeous! To my nose, this fragrance runs unisex. The fragrance family is a woody amber and contains key notes of Elemis, benzoin and bitter orange. It’s very understated and perfect for the office and all year around wear. I have it in the travel bottle so it’s really easy to put in my handbag and retouch during the day. On my skin, I had to refresh after 6 hours. I definitely want a full sized bottle!

My first but not last Hermes fragrance!!

So I was gifted this but I’d definitely buy it again!! It smells so nice and the bottle is super cute. You can tie the bottle to your purse or wear it as a statement necklace (which I did). To me, this is the perfect date night perfume. It’s a warm, sophisticated, and bold kind of scent. Very sultry!! It also feels kind of unisex. Usually my travel perfumes come in the typical spray bottles but those leak out. This bottle stays closed and again, you can tie it to things which I appreciate. Truly, my new favorite travel perfume.

Very Elegant and luxurious perfume!

This Hermès Eau des Merveilles Eau de Toilette has a very elegant scent. The amber notes are probably the strongest, clearly this is a wood perfume. The presentation is very dynamic and attractive. The glass container can be positioned in two ways and in both ways it looks good, with its little brown detail on the lid. This mini version does not have a spray so I feel that the direct application is a little strong at first but over the hours and in contact with the skin it adapts very well.
