In truth I was a little hesitant on spending this amount on golf shoes. But I’ve two other golf shoes I wear when the grounds wet and both leave my feet soaking. So I did a little research beforehand and these shoes had really good reviews. And I must say, I’ve wore these about 8 times since purchase (sometimes on very wet ground).And happy to report, my feet were as dry as a bone when I completed my round. So I see this as money well spent. They are not only waterproof but very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I've purchased my BIOM H4 BOA shoes in Feb., 2022 and loved the support, comfort and easy lacing system. Although, the laces broke during my 30th round. Because of the BOA system they are special laces and not a quick fix. I shuffled my way through 12 more holes and then contacted Ecco. I received great customer support and I am currently being sent new laces. I've also contacted the maker of the BOA system and they mentioned that the laces have been upgraded to avoid this early breakage. They too are sending new laces and very responsive. So for those considering purchase today, I think you can buy with confidence and be backed by manufactures that will stand behind their products. I have owned 9 pairs of ECCO golf shoes over the last 10/12 years and have been a ardent fan. Love my ECCO's have a few street shoes also. This last pair have not molded to my feet. They are pinching and unforgiving. As stated I am currently rotating between 5 ECCO golf shoes all the same size and all fit great except this newest pair. I can only attribute this to YAK vs ECCO leather??. I sent mine back and all ECCO said is they do not offer a comfort or fit warranty. BUYER beware.

Love the shoes....and after a dozen times wearing them in dewy conditions, they are truly water proof. I wear an 11.5 medium and the size recommended fit me perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box for sure. Great lateral support and arch support is good too.Only issue is after they get wet, the leather is crinkled in the toe crease area and the color at the tip of the toes is wearing off. I have used the proper colored shoe cream to try and help but doesn't seem to do much.As far as Carl's is concerned...it is, imho, the best online source for golf related stuff....we don't live close to either of the stores, but when we have been there, the one near Plymouth is outstanding. Quick shipping and superior support staff....our go to golf store for sure.
After going through several pair of shoes this golf season, I stumbled upon the ECCO Biom Hybrid 4. While they are not the lightest golf shoe on the market, they make up for that in comfort. The more squared toe leaves plenty of room in the forefoot, with ample cushioning underneath. The soft material around the heel prevents any rubbing or blisters. The spike-less sole transitions from course to clubhouse without taking those noisy steps. All while perfectly gripping the turf during your golf swing.
I don't even play golf but I still bought these puppies. The same logic goes for the tennis shoes I've purchased in the past- Don't even own a racket. My consumer rationale may be askew, but this time it worked out.What I am is an urban hiker of sorts, and these finely crafted foot vestiments serve well as the ambassadors, diplomatically moderating relations between my peds and the sidewalks. It ain't my dogs that you hear barking; that's the neighbor's Chihuaha this time.Five stars.
Upon receipt of delivery, noticed box was in poor condition. Took picture. Open box and noted shoes loosely packed. Inspected shoes and noted wear on insole heel area with the letter E worn down. Disappointed as I thought ordering from ECCO would guarantee manufacturer level service. Will be returning shoes. The three ratings for size, quality and comfort are best guess as I did not wear and walk around in shoes. I presently have a pair of 4 year old ECCO shoes and am very happy with the size, quality and comfort and now want to purchase a new pair. May consider reordering ...
I've owned a couple pairs of ECCO's original golf shoes which have lasted through many rounds. I've also owned many ECCO street shoes. I've never been concious of my feet, super comfortable! I have worn these for 4 or 5 rounds and NEVER been comfortable. I wondered if I got a narrow size but that isn't offered. These shoes pinch my feet across the forefoot/ball, remain very stiff and do not conform at all. I cannot wear them again and ECCO "does not guarantee comfort".
I've owned these shoes for a year through 20+ rounds in all weather conditions. They remain incredibly comfortable and my feet have stayed bone dry even on the rainiest of days.If you are coming from a shoe that "hugs" your whole foot, the toe area may feel disconcertingly loose at first--just keep swinging. It only took a round or so to completely forget about it.Deducted one star because the leather outer developed walking lines faster than I would have hoped. I recommend you treat the shoe with leather cleaner after ~10 rounds.
i have 2 pairs of these. 1- they're stable beyond belief, and i'm a big guy. 6' 240lbs. 2- they DO NOT stretch out or "roll" to the outside creating a "loose" fit. 3- i used the ECCO shoe care products on them waterproofing and shoe shampoo and cleaner and it does an amazing job. they have a generous fit for the toes and i would consider the normal fit a touch wider than other brands (like adidas/nike). the soles are firm but flexible and have zero signs of wear after 4 months of use with an average of 3 rounds per week.
