I bought these shoes two weeks ago. Within 30 minutes, I had big blisters on my heels that are taking forever to heal. Perhaps I had a faulty pair of shoes. I had to return the shoes, and the sales associate gave me a refund immediately. It’s a shame because they are lovely looking shoes, but sadly these ones were like wearing knives on my heels.

I replaced the insoles to elevate my heels slightly so my ankles won't rub against the top side of the sneaker. Now the shoes fit me perfectly. This is foot issue, not an Ecco issue, and causes me problems with other brands as well. I am happy with the great look and feel of this shoe. They are very comfortable and well made. Ecco's customer service is great as well. I would rate it 5 stars, but this online form won't work for me.

I used to love Ecco's shoes for almost 9 years. I mean literally, I haven't wear any other brand for casual shoes, none. Eccos have been comfortable, style and durable. It was all I needed and that used to make live easier, whenever I needed new shoes I went straight for Ecco.However, I am sad that now I am forced by the Ecco to look for a new brand. And it is because you are lost 2 of the main reasons to buy your shoes. 1. They are no longer comfortable. The spikes on the sole make walking (more than 4h) painful, so I can't wear them for work. The spikes prevent weight distribution of flat sole. True, I am a tall man (6'6") and heavy 240lbs, but for the past years, your flat sole was a selling point for me for that specific reason. It is more comfortable because it is flat. However, it is not as durable as the flat rubber one, so it wears out within 6-9 months.I really missed the old flat rubber sole, that was so comfortable & solid. It has never failed, and it was impossible to wear the sole in any condition. Please bring it back, or add heel support for your standard insole, or some other way to distribute weight better.

I purchased these shoes in anticipation of a lot of walking during my upcoming trip to Europe. I've been wearing them for several days to "break them in" though they need no breaking in. I'm looking forward to my trip and knowing that I can walk as much as I want to will enhance my experiences while in Europe.I've had a couple of pairs of ecco golf shoes and since they are comfortable for my 3+ miles (sometimes more) of walking on golf courses I was confident in their comfort for general walking.

I returned with my wife to the store to exchange the shoes, but they didn't have my size. The sales person offered to order them for me, but she was so incredibly rude during the exchange process that I changed my mind and returned them. I immediately went home and order the same shoe online. The shoes arrived promptly, and similar to the other ECCO shoes that I own, they fit great! I would recommend wearing the shoes indoors for a few days so that they have the opportunity to mold to your feet. As you continue to wear them, they will get even more comfortable. These are the most recent shoes I've purchased from Ecco and I find them very comfortable. The sizing on Ecco sneakers is not consistent. I usually wear a size 41but I bought a size 40 and they were loose on my foot. This new pair is a 41 and /rhey fit quite well. Overall I'm happy with these shoes.
Ecco sizing seems to be a bit different so I had ordered 2 sizes, 10/10.5 and 11/11.5, as most shoes I have are US size 11. As it happened, the 10/10/5 (I did measure my foot as suggested which was 10.5 on the button) do fit fine and are now my essential "go to" shoes, other than sandals, for summer. Return policy is also a bit unusual and I'm waiting to hear if my return refund for the 11/11.5's has been processed. Still too early to tell though.

I'm not sure if this is just because of the shallow depth of that part of the shoe or because of the lace design (having the laces extend far to the front of the shoe into the area where the shoe breaks when walking). I gave them a rest for a week or two and went back to them and the same thing happened. The shoe is beautifully made; but it is a little narrower and tighter across the vamp than Eccos of this size (men's 46) usually are. The laces seem a little short, are fairly thick, and a little difficult to cinch. But it is a handsome shoe.
Love Ecco's ... BUT not this pair. I was so excited when I got them. Look great. However, the manufacturing or design was sloppy and creates sharp thread areas inside the shoe that rub your feet and cause irritations (through my socks) in 3 very distinct places (toes, top of foot and heal). I won't be able to use them.
