A little heavy but that’s expected for what it is. Manufacture packaging is amazing, compared to other companies I’ve bought from. AC charging is super fast and will try the solar charging once the rain stops and the sun finally gets out. Gives me options to use this with my Delta 2 Max or my Delta 2.

Additional Reliable Power

The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max extra battery has now completed my power outage protection. With the Delta 2 Max and extra batteries I am worry free from an extended outage and can keep my living area, fridge including a portable A/C, swamp cooler, powerful fan and small electronics running while in comfort for more than 8 hours. Great addition to ensure our comfort.

Ecoflow Delta 2 Max extra smart battery

Purchased my Delta 2 Max with 2 extra batteries and (2) 400 watt solar panels. . That just in case we had some type of an EMP or grid failure, that not only I, but also my wife, could handle the weight and easily set up the system. That after consultation with Tom Cormier of Off grid Stores, decided this system would work well for us. All components are in a Faraday cage charged up and ready for action. This was all to compliment my natural gas powered whole house generator and two smaller units. That should there be a long term event, then most likely the grid will be down, thus no natural gas, no gasoline for the other gen sets. That along with our other preps we feel this setup should sustain us for an extended event. Great peace of mind.

Gives me the capacity i needed!

I have an HOA that does not allow Solar Panels to be permanently attached to the property. To get around this, I manually set up solar panels every time it needs a charge. I like using the Delta 2 Max to power my PC setup, and this extra battery gives me more days between recharges. Given the added convenience, I will be using much more solar in my day to day life. I LOVE the storage compartment, I will never loose the cable with this!My only complaint is how much solar energy input does not transfer to charging, but I recognize this as a limitation of the technology. I didn't find this information in any of the reviews, so I'm placing my findings here. Of course your results may vary, but I have observed approximately 87% of Solar Input converting to Battery Input.

Great product

Bought this to increase capacity of my EcoFlow Delta 2Max. Works great. Easy to hook up and use. Stackable, so takes up less room. Am SUPER IMPRESSED with the customer service I received from EcoFlow. Not many companies emphasize good customer service anymore. EcoFlow is an exception. WONDERFUL

Over should be good system for Direct Vent Furnace

I haven't needed it as of yet, but purchased a month ago and sized for AC backup to a Rinnai direct vent wall furnace. Calculated the draw of furnace and sized the EcoFlow system for appox. continuous 4-days operation without wall power. Combo of Ecoflow Delta 2 power system and Delta 2 Max smart extra battery provides 3 kWh of power. Only downside is that you can't disconnect, remove, and recharge the extra battery on it's own. That's what I had in mind when purchased. That way I can keep running furnace with the partially charged Delta 2 alone, while I take away the extra battery to charge it back up to 100% and return and plug it back into Delta 2.Not the case. You have to use the Delta 2 power station as the conduit to charge the extra battery. Very useful extra capacity

The battery works very well with my Delta 2. I am using these to run my refrigerator and freezer in my garage. I have installed fixed solar panels that have so far provided enough power to work for most of the day. The automation features and reserve power settings are very useful. I have already been able to use the units to power my refrigerators during a power outage. Great combination.
