First true environmentally friendly newborn nappy! I love it!I have been searching for an eco nappy that lives up to it's name and this one seems to be it! Ecoriginals is transparent about what goes in their nappies and what percentage will actually go back to the Earth. The packaging is paper made and can also biodegrade which is incredible.

Tried newborn plus a few times on my 2-3 week old baby. Nappy was full after one wee. Leaked easily. Tried using as a break from cloth nappies but the cloth nappies were much better - lasted longer and leaked less.

Can leak poo

I’ve used before when baby was newborn and had the same issue with poo leaks if not changed straight away. This was the only pull up toddler nappy I could find that’s better for baby and environment and have had many poo leaks unfortunately. Easily avoided if nappy changed at time of poo but not always practical if out and about

Dubious claims of absorbency, poor sizing
8 August 2023

Was initially impressed with our Size 0 Eco Originals nappies for our newborn daughter. Fit was spot on, she was well within the correct weight range and the nappies seemed to absorb her stool and her urine.Sadly, this is no longer the case since progressing up to the next size. She is well within the Size 1 range, the nappy is fit correctly - snug but not tight as to cut off circulation. Consistently find her clothes to be soaked in urine, and on occasion, her stool has leaked through the sides of the leg openings. No matter how many times we have tried to alter the fit, they leak regardless. As much as I want these to work given they are environmentally friendly, they do not absorb liquid and leak frequently, which ends up being a waste of resources as we have ... MoreWas initially impressed with our Size 0 Eco Originals nappies for our newborn daughter. Excellent eco credentials for disposable
24 October 2023

I was very excited to try these as they boast much better eco credentials as far as plastic use and time to biodegrade. Happy to report back they’re fab. Although they do come from Australia, these are a perfect option for us for the odd weekend or holiday where we needed some disposables and weren’t going to use cloth. I felt good knowing they were a reputable brand and used their disposable wipes too! Definitely recommend

Expensive and not great.
5 October 2022

We used the smallest sizes on our newborn boy & found the consistently leaked! The Velcro tabs don’t grip as well as other brands. There is no stretch around the waist and so the nappies are prone to overflowing over the top. A real pity as I was happy to pay more for eco friendly nappies, but not when they don’t perform well: back to cheaper but better nappies for us!

Great pull-ups that last the night!
28 December 2021

I have struggled finding a disposable night time pull-up for my 2yr old since switching from cloth (***** training). He is a heavy wetter and feeds during the night still so we our night nappy to be reliable! I briefly trialed huggies but the toxic reality of their nappies made me look further to find a better option. Eco originals are gentle on my little ones skin and last the entire night! We love them and have just signed up for the subscription so we don’t run out! Thank you for creating a baby & earth friendly nappy x

Lovely product, but a little big on my toddler
3 August 2021

Love the Ecoriginals. I have only ever used eco friendly, biodegradable nappies. I do find these pull ups are a little big and not a super good fit on my toddler who is 11.5kgs. That would be my only negative. Super great absorbency, soft and kind to the environment.

Sceptical at first
2 August 2021

I bought the nappy when there was a special. Quite skeptics at first but This nappy is amazing. It doesn’t go squishy like the others. I like how it’s environmentally friendly. It’s quite expensive then other brands, so unfortunately not sure if it buy again as we are a one income family of 5. But if you can afford these nappies I highly recommend!!

Terrible product
5 September 2021

Awful. Tabs did not stay attached, so my son's nappy kept falling off and ending up around his knees. Needed extra tape to stay on. Two broke open and spilled crystals/jelly everywhere, which was great fun to clean up. Tried one overnight and my son's pyjamas were wet around the crotch and smelled of urine in the morning. The outside of the nappy was wet too, so it had obviously soaked through. I really wanted to do the eco thing and help the planet, but I can't put up with a product that is this inferior to regular nappies.
