This little baby is an absolute game changer! With pets and people through the house all day, there has always been the chore of yet another floor vacuum looming. Oh my goodness .that daily chore has been wiped off the list! Instead I have taken great delight in making a coffee and sitting down to watch this wonderful little maid complete it all for me !!! It does a great job, zooming around sucking up all the mess, yet also gently manoeuvres its way around chair legs and obstacles without causing any chaos. And I have to say, one of the best things is that it cleans under the bed!!!! No more do I have to get down there in awkward positions trying to manoeuvre the vacuum stick underneath to clean all the dust! What a winner!!! Am really happy with the vacuum job it does and although I will still hand mop the floors once a week, the Deebot's mop saves me from having to mop more frequently and my floors stay looking clean and tidy with no effort thanks to this awesome little home helper!

Very happy with the product, actually bought two one for the ground floor and upper level. Easy to operate & does a brilliant job of cleaning tiled and carpeted areas. The mopping function is an added bonus. The large majority of the house sections looks nice and clean each day, except tricky places to reach such as wall corners that requires manual vacuuming. Needs a bit of monitoring especially when it has the tendency to climb over fan pedestal and get stuck. Sometimes charging wires could get entangled. Overall its a fantastic product and I would certainly recommend it.

First Robovac so, I dont have anything to compare it to. Who knew your floor was so dirty. I love it. I have tiles and I run it every day, it is 3/4 full every time. I have a short hair dog that brings in grass and dirt and long haired cat. Nothing is on the floor after the vac is done..I dont mind emptying it out every day. Seems like a very small price to pay. Vac does not hit any furniture and cleans right up against the walls without touching. Mopping feature is ok have used it once and had to spot clean a few stains. In saying that I havent had to mop my floor in two weeks. Little guy goes up a 5cm step no worries and gets all the build up at the ledge. I put it on at night and before I come home. This is the product you always wanted but never knew you needed! I am finally getting home from work and not having to stress about then cleaning the house. Out fantastic little bot does such a fabulous job at its scheduled time each day! The bot will return to the charging dock when it has finished its clean and will alert us if it is needing its dust bin emptied or if it is stuck on something. We have been using the bot everyday for 2 weeks now and have maybe needed to assist it twice. It took some time for the bot to map the house, would defiantly recommend its fully charged before you try to start mappings, it took us a couple of times but it finally mapped the house and we can now do zone cleaning if and when its required. It has a mopping function but the robot advises the mop to be removed for charging. Normal use should be without the mop then the S8 will vac the carpets and hard floors. Installing the mop, the S8 will avoid carpets.The cleaning pattern seems to be rather random and it will miss some areas and possibly return later to finish, where it could have just extended its pattern to do it first time. This extends the operating time and depletes the battery. Sometimes it gets stuck between chair legs where it can nearly get through but gets jammed and shuts down. Really nice straight-lines are left on carpets (like a manicured bowling green), where the S8 just has random swirls and lines. Battery will last for ages, the mop can be left installed at all times as it lifts the mop for carpet. Never gets stuck. Finds Dock quickly.It has phone software that is almost identical to Roborock but Deebot lacks some features like remote control, multiple maps, and its not so easy to edit maps. Several other features are missingThe N8 is a quality build and feels as good as Roborock, but it just doesn't match it for function, battery or ease of use. The N8 is cheaper therefore similar for value for money. If you want the best you will have to pay extra.

It would be 5 stars if the reservoir knew to lift it up so it didn't wet the carpet. Sucks everything up and increases the suction when it's on carpet getting everything including hair. Love the mapping function in the app and the fact I can block it from going near the power cords under the TV cabinet etc. Pretty quick charge up time, and covers a lot of ground before needing recharge. It makes it around our house in 95 min - appx 68 square mtrs - with one charge in between, and because it has continuous clean mode once it has enough battery to complete the clean it heads straight back off the dock and cleans again where it last was before it went flat. Very very efficient machine, saves so much time with the every day cleaning

During the first use it maps out the house, this initial step does take a long time to complete. After the initial mapping, I can choose to clean the whole house or smaller designated areas and it does so in a much shorter amount of time.During vacuum, it has sensors to avoid things like slippers, socks or random items lying on the ground. Noise level is lower than expected. It is definitely much quieter than my non-robot vacuum cleaners.Overall, it does everything the marketing material says it can do and I think it does map, clean and avoid obstacles rather well. Battery life could be better as a single charge is insufficient to clean the whole house for me. Ecovac T8 and T9 , which are the premium models come with the bigger battery capacity but they have a much higher price point. I was happy to settle for the smaller battery because the robot will return to recharge and then continue to clean from where it left off.
This is a great vacuum! I would recommend doing your first clean with the suction set to the lowest to save power so it can map your house in 1 go. It cleans really well. I had a roboking and this can make my short carpets spotless in 1 clean instead of 2 from the old one. I love that you can click a couple rooms and the setting you want and it will just do that. It's very smart. I had some dog toys around and it avoids them without touching them. Just note you need a wifi connection that reaches the whole house and it always has to be connected. I had a black out and the robot didn't know where he was. I had to remap the home. Lucky it's a small house. So far 2 weeks in and it's been great!

It definitely picks up a lot of dirt which is impressive. Cleans carpets, rugs and hard floors easily. Keep it away from cords and sheers/curtains as it eats it up. The downhill part started after a software update, just started taking longer and longer to clean the house and was taking the entire day in the end between charge stops which was annoying. I have a single story 4x2 and initially it would clean it within about 2 hours and now its the whole day! It kept messing up the map every cycle too and I had to reset the map a number of times. The mopping function does not replace manually mopping the floor, but can help keep the floor clean in between. Overall, quite happy with the product.
