First off this is the first vac bot I’ve owned. So, being newbie to the game I waited till I figured out how to operate it before writing a review. I’ve had this operating for 30 days now. The vacuum part of this works very well! I have one transition from hard wood flooring to carpet that it will sometimes struggle at. I learned to program the bot to clean that room first with a fresh battery. It can try more times before the battery goes dead so that fixed that problem. Programming a cleaning schedule through the app is fairly simple. This is a very nice feature. Now, I tried the mop feature and found that if your carpet has any height to it the bot has problems dragging around the micro fiber pad on carpet. No I don’t have shag carpet either. Garbage, built to fail.

I've had my DeeBot for just a hair over two years.It has not been a pleasant experience. There have been many issues with it:1. can't drive onto it's own platform from hardwood (slick) floor2. can't accurately drive onto platform without pushing it around half the time3. drop sensors fail to allow access to my dark rugs, says it's dusty when it's just not4. mapping is TERRIBLE, and you can't just force it to keep a good map, they just get worse over time until I have to fully reset, and set up my barriers again5. the beater brush just stopped working, I clean it weekly, if not bi-weekly, and I always clean the vac out on the weekends, this thing is BABIED!6. the beater brush gear box is literally designed to fail, a simple gasket would have prevented ... MoreI've had my DeeBot for just a hair over two years.It has not been a pleasant experience. It is not built to last.

Good for daily maintenance

I bought this for my mom who is in her 70s. She has back issues now and sweeping/mopping has become very difficult for her. I had to set it up for her and download the app to her phone. Once that is done, it’s pretty easy to manage. It works well on her hard wood floors and she is happy with it. It doesn’t seem to miss any areas, but it does have difficulties if the floor is uneven. For example, her house is a ranch, but the kitchen floor is maybe 1 1/2 higher than the dining room floor because if the tile. Great vacuum but mop not good at all so returned

We had a shark VAC mop for a little over a year. We used it every single day multiple times a day, because we have tile throughout our home, no carpet at all. Three adults, three dogs, two Chihuahuas, and one lab. The shark vac mop that we got was lower and maybe about 250 bucks.when it would not work anymore, we decided to upgrade to Ecovac Deebot. The self emptying base, which we did not have before, also outstanding. When it was time to mop, it would barely put out any liquid if any at all. We did all the things, watched all the videos, looked at all the FAQs, etc. It would just never mop at an acceptable level. Again, we really wanted to keep this because we loved the vacuum that much. Great value and features.

I have to preface this that this is my first robo vacuum cleaner so I am very experienced to compare it to others. Having said that this is a great robo vacuum. It works really well overall. The set up was easy and the app works really well. It had LiDAR so it started the first clean by mapping my home which was very accurate. It would be better to just not vacuum or mop

Owning this is one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. I’m watching this absolute worthless piece of garbage try to climb a quarter inch threshold and get stuck. It has done this for over 25 minutes straight and it will never figure out how to get over that threshold itself.There’s not even any reason for it to be trying to go over this threshold, it has already cleaned everything on the other side of it and almost nothing on the side it’s coming from. Mostly a great unit

With the exception of one important thing, this vacuum works great. However, the self emptying doesn't work. I've attempted troubleshooting using the online videos, as well as through the manufacturer's tech support. Unfortunately, they want me to send back the unit (at their cost). They havenot said if they would repair or replace with another vacuum. Nor did they say who would be paying for return shipping. In the meantime, I'll be without a vacuum. Most other trustworthy manufacturers would send a replacement first, at no shipping cost, and then have the customer return the defective item. I'm not willing to run the risk of paying a considerable cost for shipping, which could be as much as half as what I paid for the product originally. I have a Deebot N79 vacuum/sweeper, and decided to step up to the N8 Plus to sweep and mop the kitchen. The N8 uses a whole different system based in part Lidar imaging with the ability to make and store maps of the work area. The improvement in efficiency is remarkable. Rather than bouncing off the bumpers and executing a sequence of pre-programmed movements, the N8 is systematic and deliberate in choosing its path. The result of this intelligent approach is a dramatic reduction in the time necessary to clean a space. The N8 mops 225 ft^2 kitchen in just over 20 minutes. The battery is barely depleted by the time the N8 returns to the charging station and empties its internal bin. The thoroughness of cleaning is quite good. Since prime day and deals days are coming up, I wanted to write a review of this so no one else waste any money on this garbage product. This thing doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t pick up any dirt, debris, or anything and spends hours “cleaning” the exact same place. It is constantly jamming and catching on things and breaks all the time. We bought this to replace our 4 year old Eufy product that was 1/3 of the cost and the old Eufy product works 100xs better. Works great for first few cleans then whiney

Bought one on clearance and it worked very well on the first clean so I bought another for another floor. Both have since, within a month, started needing manual attention multiple times per cycle. Things they did not get hung up on before now they cannot seem to handle. They like got dumber, it makes no sense to me. Have tried resetting/deleting maps/etc. one can’t even dock itself anymore like it doesn’t know that it is ON its dock crooked. Then it whines that the drop sensor is dust covered which is NEVER true. Cannot handle low pile area rugs anymore either. Junk.
