I rarely buy anything that isn't new -- perhaps car parts that my mechanic recommends. I felt I was taking a chance and the refurbished speakers I ordered would not work when they arrived. They arrived on time. I had to buy a different 'connector' piece between the cd player and the speaker than was provided but quickly found one and the set-up was easy. Sound is great. Thank you -- wonderful process from start to finish.

I was disappointed with the so called bookshelf speakers . Computer speakers more describes the speakers. The quality of sound was also disappointing. I have another set of Edifier speakers and the quality of sound is way superior.

Great price for these speakers. Good enough sound for what they are and for music they are much better than boxy plastic speaker'n'sub combos. I have seen other reviews saying that this model doesn't sound as good as the higher priced Edifier models... well that stands to reason...it's because they are much cheaper! They do need a bit of EQ compared to my larger Edifiers and they don't have as much bass as the better models but that's because... surprise, surprise... it costs a lot more to build a set of speakers with a lower free air resonance and they need to be bigger with more mass and therefore components.
Well worth the money better then expected, they put out a great sound
