The 200 Tetris-like Kanoodle puzzles in this set feature 12 different shapes of between 3 and 5 beads with thin connecting plastic. The puzzle board is a 5 x 11 region of dents in which you will configure your shapes. The object of the game is to fit all 12 shapes on the Kanoodle board, starting with the positions on the cards. As the cards get harder, you will start with fewer and fewer puzzle pieces. Each setup has hundreds of possible combinations but just one solution. It can get quite frustrating when you end up with one bead off the board and one open spot, but the more you try the closer (or farther) you can get. The challenge is what makes this game so fun! Once you master the 2D setup, you can play 3D Pyramid Kanoodle with the same key concept but one challenging twist—use all 12 pieces to make a pyramid. I hope you find this as fun and challenging as I did!

Can I Kanoodle too? has become one of the most frequently asked questions in our home lately I had my eye on this little contraption (I haven t figured out if it s a game puzzle memory drill or critical thinking exercise yet) for well over six months for my then 4-yr old puzzle aficionado We finally bought it for his 5th birthday and it has fast become a family favorite! We quickly purchased a second for the 7 yr old and the 12 yr old keeps sneaking his brothers ! I even caught them teaching the 25 yr old to put it together! But the children are not just working the puzzles; it appears that they are in a competition to memorize as many puzzles as possible We have found these make great quiet time activities and they are easily transportable to wherever we are going ... MoreCan I Kanoodle too? has become one of the most frequently asked questions in our home lately I had my eye on this little contraption (I haven t figured out if it s a game puzzle memory drill or critical thinking exercise yet) for well over six months for my then 4-yr old puzzle aficionado We finally bought it for his 5th birthday and it has fast become a family favorite! I wouldn t suggest Kanoodle for a little one who still puts things in the mouth but anyone who can read the diagrams to set up the puzzles can Kanoodle as the Level 1 puzzles are only missing 1 piece Also Kanoodle noodles and the carrying case are made of a sturdy plastic that should last the average child s quiet playtime and then some However I would caution that you may need more than just one because you may have a hard time simply watching the children Kanoodle and they make great gifts too!

Got this for our 6YO as a little extra thing she can do while we're all under stay at home orders. She immediately knew what it was as they have one at the after-school program she normally attends, but she'd never seen the puzzle book (you know how those types of things disappear in childcare places!) She likes to make up her own puzzles, too, though they don't usually successfully use all the pieces. I think as she gets better at some of the spatial understanding, she'll get quite good at the 3D puzzles.

We are homeschoolers and I am always trying to find toys that are more educational-brain teaser genre. This was recommended on many sites for top fun and educational games. This is definitely a game you don't get tired of. I love that you can grab it and go. It can be stored in your purse, jacket pocket, bookbag. I do wish they made one that was a bigger version that was not as compact because I would buy that one to keep for in home use.

I'm an adult and love it
2 October 2021

My sister in law had a stroke and her rehab included Kanoodle. She sent me one to help me with my anxiety, panic and depression that affected my ability to process. I love puzzles and Kanoodle has been not only fun but helpful. I'm at genius level now. Who knew. Lol.

It's Awesome!
24 October 2018

This is awesome! Bought this for my 7year old, but my 4year old plays with it more. The first few puzzles are rather simple, but the later ones are tough, tough enough that I and my husband also take time to solve. It's fun and interactive and keeps the kids engaged and busy for a long time. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who has kids. Helps improve their logic and thinking. The only downside is that it's rather too small and if the puzzle booklet tears, you will have to buy the entire puzzle again.

LOVE IT!!!
18 February 2019

This is a phenomenal game. It encourages kids and adults to actually think and try different ways to solve each puzzle. My son got this a present from someone in class in first grade. My daughter who was in pre-k also loved playing with him. I have purchased no less than 10 of these throughout the last two years to give to all of my nieces and nephews, as well as my children's classmates. Highly recommend this game for all ages. They also have a genius version for kids a little bit older. You will not be disappointed in this product.

Please sell replacement pieces!
13 May 2022

I LOVE this game and it's the perfect size to just keep in my purse or the car for when we are needing something to keep both the adults and our 6 year old occupied. We took it on a road trip and it was a great thing to take into restaurants, breweries, etc. UNTIL I forgot to take possession back from the kid before getting back into the car. We are now missing a piece. Would be 5-stars if I could get a replacement piece.

They are serious about twisting your brain

These puzzles are very unique and challenging in a good way. The directions walk you through setting up a pattern for a portion of the game board and then it is up to you to figure out how the remaining pieces fit into the puzzle. If you like challenges, gift yourself.

excellent toy in a multitude of ways and for many ages
30 July 2015

Excellent toy - even for younger ones! My little guys (4 and 6 year olds) will build designs or simply follow puzzles in the box, just for basic pattern matching. I keep this puzzle in my bag-o-tricks for when we are at restaurants and they are getting restless. Compact for easy portability. I have brought this to an event for my children to play and fellow adult friends took it over! :-) SUPER bonus - after well over a year of use, we managed to lose the smallest piece. I called E.I. and the replacement is getting shipped tomorrow at NO CHARGE to me. Wonderful customer service!!!!

stimulating, brainteasing puzzles
15 February 2016

I got about 50 Kanoodle puzzles to give to sick children in hospitals. I want the children to keep busy with a stimulating product. I tested out the Kanoodle puzzle and found that it was enjoyable to start off and the easier levels and eventually complete more challenging puzzles. Hands-on materials are more effective than crossword puzzles because it gives you the opportunity to construct your own model. In addition, it causes you to become actively involved in the learning process because you have the ability to observe, internalize, and manipulate. I would recommend this product for people that are looking to stimulate their brain. People who have early stages of Alzheimer's would benefit from doing these puzzles as it helps pick your brain!
