Sadly these 2 5amp batteries were useless at the start of their 3rd season. I called EGO to understand their warranty on these and the first person I talked to hung up on me because she couldn't answer my polite question. The 2nd person was very good but I was 26 days past the 3 years. Zero warranty. Luckily I bought the snowblower from ACE and they warrantied them. I love ACE in Windsor CO since they have such excellent customer service unlike EGO who live up to their reputation......

A good balance between capacity and weight

This battery replaces the 56v 4.0Ah battery we bought 5 years ago. It weighs very little more, which is great, as I wouldn’t want it any heavier(we use it in our lawn mower, where weight doesn’t matter, but also in our line cutter, where it most certainly does matter). The extra time the bigger battery gives is noticeable. It’s great. - a good balance between capacity and weight.

Didn't last as long as I had hoped.

I bought one of the first/earliest Ego mowers 5 years ago and for the most part it has held up well (I have looked after it and kept it clean), but now the battery is flat after only about 10 minutes of normal mowing. Now it is going to cost 3/4 or what I paid for the mower to replace the battery, so almost $100 a year. While it's hard to beat the convenience of a battery (not having to mess with getting petrol, spark plugs, oil changes etc) it is a bit disappointing. Something to be aware of before you make this purchase.

Good battery

Just got to mow yard with this battery. It lasted just as long as the battery that came with my mower. Charging it was just as easy, too. I hope to get some years out of this before having to replace again.

Good to begin with...

I was really pleased with the mower when i bought with 5 year warranty / 3 years for battery. After 5 & a half years (just outside warranty) the power is failing and the height adjustment mechanism on the mower has buckled and no longer functional. As its stuck on the lowest setting it wont really mow. Now I'm questioning whether its worth spending on a new battery plus repairs, or drop another $1,000 on a new mower. Bit disappointing...

Great Battery

I love EGO products but I have one complaint...the battery arrived with no box. When ordering, it was advertised as "new" so I expected a new battery in the box, not just wrapped in bubble paper the the post office uses. That how products get knocked around and damaged. Other than that, I hope my battery is in fact new.

Great battery for great equipment

I use the second BA4200T battery in a snowblower for clearing my sidewalk and driveway after snowstorms in NE. Battery provides feedback on its remaining charge. Full charge can power my snowblower for a full hour of work or clearing 6-8 snow from everywhere.

Just what I needed

Battery arrived well packed and on time. It was a new in the box lawn mower battery. I now have 2 batteries that I can switch out for my large lawn.

Relatively Good Value and Predictable Performance

The EGO battery functions well and can sustain operation through very thick grass for a moderate period of time. Generally I am cutting grass that is 3"-6" high in front and backyards, respectively, and the battery will complete the front yard on single charge. Sometimes grass height in my backyard can attain a foot and the grass density is thick so the typical situation is 2 charges. I have never experienced issue with physical warping, breaks in outer shell, or extreme overheating. My first battery lasted 4 years before it would no longer accept a recharge in OEM EGO charge. I naturally wish that units were less expensive and lasted maybe 1-2 years longer. Works great so far

Bought this as original Ego 56v 7.5 ah was toast. Was so tired of having to constantly recharge so bought this one and crossed my fingers. Ive cut lawn 4 times with no issues whatsoever. Definitely recommend but will review after the last cut this summer. (front and back yard are bigger than the average yard)
