I now have 3 Ego's, the push mower, a line trimmer and now the hedge trimmer. They've all exceeded my expectations in power and ease of operation, they appear sturdy and well made. I can't wait to get a Ego chainsaw. I also have a battery powered Ride on mower (not an Ego) that is fantastic as well. They are so easy, grab the tool, do the job, a bit of a clean, put the battery on charge and walk away. No fuel to mix, don't even keep petrol in the shed anymore. Stop halfway through a job to talk to the neighborhood or pull out a weed, pick the Ego up squeeze the lever and your quietly working again. Yep, thumbs up.

This would be the best trimmer we have ever had we love it. Battery lasts a long time and it is not too heavy
Great device, very strong machine, convient handling and turnable blade. I use it for my business and it does well trimming hedges, shrubs and shaping trees.
Overall a great hedge trimmer. Plenty of power and a good length for quick hedge cutting. Only downside is the weight when lifting above shoulder height.

I purchased this just after lease to number 3 lockdown.Im glad mitre10 restructured financial packages such as afterpay made investing in good quality product feasible for long term quality product .Tried it out and was the best hedge trimmer I tried with plenty of grunt and cuttingpower for once .and I didn’t have wood or twigs blocking the movement of the blade -this equipment has saved already by doing the work myself just on one day .Also with world situation petrol may become a problem in the long run so battery was a plan for the future with consideration of a solar charger in case .so options can be added .
I have owned many cordless hedge trimmers but this one beats them all. It slices through hedges like a terminator. A bit on the heavy side but well worth it
used it for about 4 hours so far. works really well. we have Ego lawn mower, chain saw and they are all working well.
