It works well. I find the pre-cut line more convenient than buying a big roll and cutting it to fit. The pre-cut is more expensive though, so it's a trade-off.

These are package nicely, the tape that hold them together is very, very, sticky, and is difficult to get off the line. It is nice they are pre cut, but they do not seem to last very long. I was only able to cut abut 30 square feet of area, before the line ran out. My old trimmer line would last for my entire lawn, and I still had some left. This will take about 3 packs of line to do the yard. I will most likely measure the line and buy a bulk pack and cut to length.

The ego trimmer works great except my model is one year old and does not have the feed buttons that the newer models have. Even on the ego website it was only has directions how to feed new string for the newer trimmers. My trimmer has been sitting in active for 10 days because of work and not being able to figure out how to feed the new line into the trimmer
