The powerful battery gave me ample 'grunt' to cut through some tough branches and lasted way past the cut-off of the other brands I tested. The cutter/trimmer unit again is simple quick and easy to install and it cut through the bush and hedges like a 'knife through hot butter!' The finish looked neat tidy and very professional. A little more expensive than the other brands, but having used it I think it is well worth the investment.

Been looking for a while for a pole hedge trimmer to replace my aging corded one. Have been very happy with the EGO blower I bought 2 years ago so staying with EGO for the battery & charger compatibility was part of the thought process. Was looking at the multi tool with extensions, but when I saw this unit and an online review video I was sold. I've used it twice so far and been very impressed. A lot of thought has gone into the design and functionality and I really can't find fault with it. I also got the chainsaw head for this and together they make the perfect combination to cut the tall hedges I have around my home.
