Wow, not going to pull any punches. The bin blocks the battery compartment, making it impossible to add or remove the two batteries closest to the seat (without removing the bin entirely. As a landscaper, I choose to use turbo chargers to quickly recharge batteries throughout the day instead of using the slower ZTR charger. So I am constantly pulling batteries and relaxing them. So Ego designs an accessory that blocks the battery compartment and they know this but yet it still goes to market? Yes, you technically can charge/recharge via the external charger, but that's not going to work for a lot of customers, especially ones that rely on Ego equipment for a living. Poor design, poor decision to go to market with this product.

Easy to assemble and sturdy!
Shakes loudly and not as sturdy as imagined. Also gets in the way and caught in branches.
Nice add-on for my EGO Z6 e-Steer! Sturdy and installs in just a few steps. Great for holding debris that you pick up before or during a mow. Use with a 44" grabber tool anti-slip jaw for easy yard cleanup. Included net is helpful on windy days. EGO should include rain hole plugs for the ability to carry fine grain cargo (like grass seed patch).
Looks and fits perfect. Assembly took about 10 mins. Some screws took a little wiggling to get into place. Has drain opening in the bottom in case of liquid spills. Solid attachment to the mower.
The bin itself is fine - generous size, including bungee netting and drainage holes are all a plus. The fact that the support posts are only slotted into the ZTR, rather than actually anchored in any fashion, leads to more rattling that I would like. I don't see any risk of it coming loose, though. The major downside is the install. The instructions are clear, but the manufacturing tolerances need to be tightened up - holes didn't line up cleanly, and a lot of muscle was required to get the final section of frame in place, even with all of the other pieces only loosely bolted together. Ultimately it meets my needs, but there's definite room for improvement.
Pretty quick assembly and honestly would not want the mower without it. Mounted mine on the back of the 52" and it's great for holding my blower and trimmer as I make my way around the yard.
