A bit on the sweet side but not overwhelming.

Always excited to see flavors that aren't 'chocolate something or another'. A chance for Raspberry Cheesecake I had to take and I'm happy with it. The flavor does hit the taste of raspberry without screaming 'these are chemicals' on your tongue so that's a boost there. As for the cheesecake aspect you get the bit of creamy taste once it's well blended so that fills that. So up front the flavor is good; it does run a little on the sweet side so for me I had to mix it with more fluid than they suggest and that was enough to solve it. As for the mix itself - It blends well. It's whey isolate first and then whey concentrate. This is where another issue runs in. This isn't a pure isolate protein and they are asking over 25$/pound for it. That's high. That's pretty high ... MoreAlways excited to see flavors that aren't 'chocolate something or another'. Also there is the issue they are a protein mix with NO nutritional information listed. None. That's weird. I took the chance at it but if I was buying it outright I don't think I'd pull the trigger for a protein drink mix with no information about what is inside it for 25$/pound. They need to add that. Simple. I'd rather see one picture of a label than 6 pictures of 'fit people' near the bottle. They have an ingredient list further down the page but no information about amounts, carbs, etc. Improve that and it'd be worth 4 stars out of 5 since you're asking people to buy your product nearly blind.

I would rank this as average. Based on the cost and ingredient profile, this is mid grade. Profile it is good and like the blend of iso and concentrate. Because of the concentrate it does get a little foamy at first but goes away. I was hugely disappointed by both the smell and flavor. I got the Raspberry Cheesecake and nothing of a cheesecake flavor. I have had others that pulled it off. The Raspberry flavor is a subtle banknote, or maybe I am willing myself to taste it. At this point I cut it with different vanilla iso to off set. So far no digestive issues. BACKGROUND: I've been analyzing protein for over 10 years, with many research and spreadsheets comparing them all. I rank based on cost per scoop, ingredients, protein quality, protein concentration per scoop ... MoreI would rank this as average. Based on the cost and ingredient profile, this is mid grade. Good protein blend with one large negative. Pros: -Mixes easily -Good ingredients. Main source of protein is whey isolate. Whey concentrate is the second source. -The flavors are different than your standard chocolate, vanilla, and salted caramel you see everywhere and actually taste good. This raspberry cheesecake had a good raspberry flavor with a hint of vanilla/cheesecake. Cons: -It is really expensive. Over $25 a lb for a non-pure isolate blend is one of the highest priced proteins I have seen.

Ok, not that great
28 January 2024

Pros: - Nice packaging, looks professional. - Mixes well. 0 clumps every shake (I use milk as my medium). - Pretty good value. Cons: - Flavor doesn't really taste like the advertised flavor. Just tastes like regular chocolate to me. - There are these little puff pieces in it that all bunch up at the bottom. So when you get to the bottom of your drink, you're met with a ton of little balls. Didn't really care for that. Overall, it's an alright protein powder, but I unfortunately probably won't get it again.

Sadly didn’t hit the mark
21 April 2021

*TLDR - Peanut Butter Puffs has a weird salty flavor, Choc Carmel tasted watered down w/ no carmel taste, Raspberry Cheesecake Ripple is AMAZING, and sadly no “Satisfaction Guarantee”*I wanted to try different protein powder brands and saw EHP Labs being used by one of the fitness people I watch on YouTube. I read countless reviews throughout the week from the most recent all the way down to the 1-stars and ultimately decided that the good out weighed the bad. So I ordered a total of 4 flavors. 1) ISOPept Zero - Vanilla Ice Cream (*I know this is an OxyWhey review but didn’t want to make multiple reviews*) , 2) OxyWhey - Peanut Butter Puffs, 3) OxyWhey - Raspberry Cheesecake Ripple, and 4) OxyWhey - Choc Carmel. I tried all of them multiple times and personally loved 1, tolerated 1, and disliked the rest. My Favorite was Raspberry Cheesecake Ripple, followed by ISOPept Zero - Vanilla Ice Cream, Choc Carmel and lastly Peanut Butter Puffs. I understand that everybody has different tastes so I know some people like them. For reassurance I tried multiple scoops of the Peanut Butter Puffs and Choc Carmel and they just didn’t taste good at all, sadly. The Peanut Butter Puffs powder was just salty.. no peanut butter taste and no resemblance to the Reese’s Puffs Cereal or even the milk like some brands try and recreate. The Choc Carmel powder was like watered down chocolate with no carmel taste which is weird to me cause I tried 8oz of water (stated on the label) then tried even less water the next time (as well as oat milk and almond milk) and there was just no difference whatsoever. It also had a salty flavor like the Peanut Butter Puffs which I think is the chocolate but I could be wrong. The ISOPept Zero - Vanilla Ice Cream has a weird artificial flavor, nothing like vanilla or ice cream and is really thick like thicker than any duel whey mixture or Isolate I have ever tired but it is tolerable. And the Raspberry Cheesecake Ripple was just AMAZING, which threw me through a loop because I thought that one would have an artificial flavor or weird after taste but nope it’s super good, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I also re-read the bad reviews and saw the ones that state the same thing I just mentioned say that the bad taste was due to a new formula and the old one was way better (which I never tried). Every reply from EHP Labs Customer Service were all pretty much the same reply of “The new formula is healthier and they recommend trying a different flavor”. My only issue with that is EHP Labs doesn’t have a “Satisfaction Guarantee” or a good return/refund policy. Which is super weird to me because every supplement company I have tried has it. You can only get an exchange for damaged items or if they send you the wrong item.. so you’re stuck if you don’t like it. I would recommend if you want to try any of these products or are on the fence order them from VitaminShoppe since they have a 30 day return policy and I found that they are cheaper in overall price.

Strawberry Milkshake Dream!
13 October 2023

First week trying out OxyWhey and so far, I am a happy girl!I got the peanut butter puffs and strawberry milkshake. In my opinion, peanut butter puffs doesn’t quite hit the mark, especially when you compare it to Rule1’s flavour equivalent. However, the strawberry milkshake is an absolute dream!! My only note is it could be a little creamier but the taste is seriously good!So far recovery has been good and no bloating. Also, mixes very well.EHP just needs to bring out a spearmint milkshake flavour and my life will be complete!! 😉

Tastes great (just don't smell it). I bought this after
20 February 2024

Tastes great (just don't smell it). I bought this after checking the photos on MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP for the ingredients. The photos are very hard to read and MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP unfortunately haven't written out the ingredients list separately in the description. There is a separate ingredients/ allergy bit totally seperate from the main ingredients bit which is very dangerous as this can easily be missed and result in people having allergic reactions and worst case dieing. This is frustrating for people with allergies because the photos are hard to read and there are two allergy bits, one of which isn't with the ingredients where it should be.

This is the whey!
19 February 2024

I use this for a post workout protein shake. I've been trying to cut fat from my formerly morbidly obese frame for the past year. I've used many whey protein supplements, but only to complete my needed protein intake. I try to make sure the majority of my protein comes from clean eating. This is by far my favorite. When mixed with unsweetened almond milk and ice then blended, it makes a super awesome protein ice cream that really puts away those cravings for sweets! I've also been using their isopept peanut butter cup. It is my second favorite of all the whey protein supplements I've used over the last year. So far I'm down just over 100 lbs. I am in no way saying this is responsible for that. (I have busted my tail in the gym, and somehow functioned on a major ... MoreI use this for a post workout protein shake. WOW.
27 January 2024

Listen, I've tried TOO MANY whey proteins over the years and none compare to this one right here. Seriously, it is so good! For me, aftertaste is major turnoff when it comes to anything I drink, especially supplements like this. While monitoring my blood glucose levels due, I also noticed that it does not spike or negatively affect my blood glucose (as it does contain sucralose and every body is different). It mixes well and is really enjoyable to drink. Let's put it like this, if this product was given to me for free, I would still pay for it. (Well, maybe not *LOL*), but you get the point- that's how good it is. Buy it now, and enjoy. Caio!

Worst tasting protein flavour
20 November 2023

I recently bought the peanut butter puffs and is my first time trying EHP Labs' protein. I really wanted to love this protein but I'm really struggling to stomach it. It's got a much saltier taste to it than other peanut butter flavours of protein and the mini puffs inside are a weird texture. I've tried having this as a protein shake with skim milk and in my overnight weetbix by mixing it in with yogurt. But both methods bring out a salty flavour with little peanut butter taste. This is probably the worst tasting flavour of proten I've ever had and I've tried many brands from Optimum Nutrition, My Protein, True Protein, and Muscle Nation over the past five years I've trained.
