All four (4) cans were rusted and dented when I received my package. The cans were only secured in a plastic bag that was tied at the top. There were no other forms of insulation inside of the box the cans were stored in. I was really disappointed and disgusted with the quality of the products I received. I had to double check the expiration date on the cans to make sure that I wasn’t shipped expired products.

My husband using these to make enchiladas for our family. The taste is awesome! The thing that i am most excited about this product is that i found it in a larger size!! Before i could only find the 7 oz cans which meant i neded to get at least 8 to make a large amount of enchiladas for my large family, so this is awesome!!

I don’t use the sauce pictured above in the yellow can. It’s the green can, that we love! El Pato 🌶 jalapeño tomato sauce, it can be addictive! I buy the little cans sometimes to cook with but mainly to use as salsa. It’s great with tortilla chips and so delicious use as a salsa. Since I discovered it, we have to keep at least six cans on hand at all times.😇

This salsa is serious. If you want enchiladas or chilaquiles with an authentic flavor and a serious kick El Pato is your best option. You can usually find it in the Hispanic food aisle of your grocery store. If it’s too intense, you can always mix it with

I use this product and the same brand but in the green can on a regular basis, multiple times a week. Its delicious and comes in a variety of heat levels. I prefer the yellow can, there are a few simple ways to use this product that will give you great quick and easy meals. The first is for those who love chicken. Boil your chicken (about 1-2lbs) then shred it. Place shredded chicken in a skillet and pour 1-2 cans depending on if you'd like a lot of sauce like a stew or minimal sauce as just a flavor. Add equal cans of water to the cans you poured and bring to a boil. Once boiling turn down and simmer for 10-15 min. Serve in a boil with heated corn tortillas or flour tortillas you can eat as a soup/stew or place in the tortillas and eat as tacos. You are going to brown you ground meat then pour the 1-2 cans and 1/2 cans less of water over, open a can of your mixed veggies and again when it boils turn it down to a simmer for 10-15 minutes, I like to make this on the thicker sauce side as we eat it served on tostada shells.

Found this can at the Hencho n Mexico restaurant which is very famous in Australia. They even use the can to store their cutlery for customers. How cool it is! I love the way to use and dont waste the recycle products. Well done for the can and their sauce quality.

i did curbside pickup and this is one of my items in that i had bought in my cart it says .82 cents. Now i had forgotten an item so when i picked my order up i had to run back inside i see the center aisle full of them with a sign saying. 48 cents. Are they jacking prices up on certain items when you choose to do curbside versus going inside and picking out your own groceries?

Fantastic for cooking, even 'Gringo Food'!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this sauce! Some Hispanic friends turned me onto this stuff years ago. I use it a lot to liven up stews and soups. In fact, I'm making a big pot of vegetable soup as I type. I add a can of this sauce to the mix instead of plain old tomato sauce and it makes for a wonderful savory flavor with just the right amount of zip. For those who prefer a milder flavor, it 'tames' well with just regular tomato sauce without losing all of its character. For those who are like me and prefer even more of a kick, a few jalapeños in the recipe will turn the heat up a notch or two. This sauce also great for adding to homemade salsa, beef stew, meatloaf, or even the sauce for my stuffed poblanos, 'Gringa Style'. Since I live in Texas, it's pretty easy for me to find in just about any grocery store, though there are many Hispanic grocers within just a few miles of my house that have a wider selection of the other El Pato sauces. Every variety that I've used is a winner, and this particular variety is super versatile. I wouldn't be caught dead without at least a couple of cans of this sauce in my pantry!

Great for Chili con Carne

For all of the different spices I use when I make my chili, the one "secret" ingredient I use to bring it over the top is El Pato Tomato Sauce. I do use this in conjunction with Rotel, but it still gives my chili a stand-out flavor. I even use this when making simpler (IE, slow-cooker) chilies with fewer ingredients. Nothing else compares when giving something that special Southwestern flavor.

Great product.

I love this product and was happy to find it. However, the delivery left a lot to be desired. I ordered this and all the cans came severely dented. I don't mind a little ding or dent, but these were smashed to the point where some where almost folded in half. Asked for a replacement and was sent 10 more cans. They also arrived severely damaged...too much to where I did not feel safe using them. Inside the box, there was one piece of a deflated air pillow to protect 10 cans. I've had more "protection" in packages containing on small, non-breakable item...and that was packaging was clearly overkill. However, I will say I was very happy with Target's return/replacement and refund quality.
