Underrated! It’s a small can and I basically use this in lieu of tomato paste. I bought it randomly because I liked the container and it was so cheap (77 cents!). It adds a nice kick of spice to any meal that might require tomatoes. Big fan

El Pato sauce is my go to but unfortunately all 4 cans I ordered arrived severely dented. The cans were placed in a larger box WITHOUT any type of foam surround or air bags to secure the cans from moving around inside the box...

Great taste. Not very spicy considering it is "jalapeno" more of a thin sauce. Works good for wet borito or enchalidas, and of course good on chips.
This El Pato Sauce has a very smoky, medium hot, tangy, salty flavor. I have given El Pato to visiting friends returning to places without access to the lovely salsa. Great with chips, but even better on eggs in the morning. Differing levels of 'heat' are due to the fickle nature of the jalapeno pepper. I have had cans that are toward the direction of mild, and one that nearly blew my head off. Needless to say I have never opened a can of El Pato without finishing it!
The absolute best Jalapeno Sauce I have ever had!! You will individually go through a can of this in one sitting with a bag of tortilla chips. The "Hotness" is just perfect and one other thing goes so well with this...and that is a nice cold beer! I used to purchase this at our Kroger Store, but for some reason they stopped carrying it, so now I make special trips to Wal-Mart to load up with it. Enjoy!
Just the right amount of tang. Great taste, smooth not chunky. Great for spicing up salsas, tacos, hamburger meat, chicken, etc. Great size can, no left overs.
This is NOT SALSA VERDE… i opened the 1st can and it’s red NOT VERDE. Guess i have to improvise what I’m making.
Make a relleno sauce with sauted onions, green chile strips and one can. A bit of flour can be added if thicker sauce is desired. Taste for salt and garlic powder if desired. Super easy. For tacos it is fine like it is.
may be cheaper in store. online price not bad. haven't tried it but I'm hoping it's the green sauce I'm looking for. 4 stars because I'm not sure.
