I always keep a pack of larger dressings in the first aid box. Today, I needed to use one of these to protect an area where my daughter's body brace has rubbed at the base of her spine. This dressing plus antibiotic cream will certainly protect against infection on that site. The pad in the centre of the dressing is covered with a very thin, flexible film. Once the outer covering is peeled off, the film is attached to the skin and the wound is totally sealed and protected. In an instance such as this, a normal plaster would not be suitable. This dressing provides a complete solution.

Great idea to add active silver, naturally anti-bacterial, to elastoplast. Only problem is the size, would be better to have a range of sizes. Once you open you the big one you have to use it, can't cut them up.

Excellent dressing for someone with fragile skin. Really stays waterproof if applied correctly
I bought these to cover my wound from keyhole surgery once the hospital provided ones ran out. These stayed on exceptionally well allowing me to shower without having to worry about my wound getting wet. I’m using them at the minute to cover a deep cut to my foot. The outer sticky part (surrounding the pad) is very thin and flexible, allowing good movement of the area so your skin doesn’t feel restricted. Going to buy another pack tomorrow to ensure I have a stock at home for whenever needed again.
I received this product to review from Ocado and definitely think it's worth a place in the first aid box! The plasters seem to stick pretty well. They're on the large side, and it might be good to have them in a range of sizes.
I?ve been waiting to review this product as Ocado sent me one a while ago. Luckily I haven?t needed a huge plaster... but it does mean I can only really comment on the size, which is big enough to cover most anything that won?t need professional attention.

These have been great to help the healing process post surgery. They keep the wound dry and stay on for days. I like that they are all the same size otherwise Id have to buy multiple boxes with many going to waste!
I bought these so my son could go to his swimming lesson with a scraped knee. After 10 minutes in the water he noticed the plaster had disappeared. Im guessing theyre better than fabric plasters for showering though if thats what theyre needed for.
