I was dubious as I’ve tried a bargain basement version that was unusable and had to go back as kept burning the motor and quickly depleted the battery! This however is a different league altogether cuts quickly quietly and is easy to use - even my wife has had a go and found it easy to use! Wonderful bit of kit.

Have the polesaw and needed a more compact version to prune away at lower hanging branches.This sure the job really well.Used a 5 amp battery and still had power left after 70 approx cuts.Chain tensioner was easy to adjust and no oil leaked from oil compartment throughout use.I also purchased a ds300 case separately to store this saw in even though it is not made specifically for it, v the same managed to fit.

Excellent mini chainsaw that cuts through 1inch to 6 inch branches with ease. The built in oil chamber prevents chain wear unlike some which need to be oiled manually.
Have only used a few times so far but seems to be a very capable tool for small jobs but it will also tackle branches of a sizeable diameter. Overall very pleased a very robust tool which will complement my de walt 40cm chainsaw very well, horses for courses
