I received the Oral-B Vitality PRO as a product test and of course used it immediately. First the positive points:-The color (in my case black) looks quite nice.-The timer for the quadrant change and after the 2 minutes cleaning I find top, so you have for each area the same duration and can thus also clean more thoroughly.-The toothbrush could possibly have been a bit narrower, but it still lies firmly in the hand and is good to use.-The push button for the modes is not too easy and not too hard to press, so you do not unintentionally change modes while brushing.-It is easily possible to simply change the mode while you brush your teeth, for example, if you prefer to have a level stronger. The following negative points, however, have unfortunately struck me ... I have the toothbrush permanently on the charging station, because I simply do not recognize how the battery status is and I do not want to have a toothbrush that simply goes out when I brush.-I find the option to switch between the individual modes a bit awkward, because you always have to click through all 3 modes, even though you only use the first one, for example, or have pressed once too much. I would find it nicer if it was then for the individual modes a single button there, so that it is simply better adaptable.-The brush head that came with it was just way too hard for my liking, it would have been nicer if you could just get 2 or 3 different attachments to test through. It's a shame when I buy new attachments and then I'm not satisfied with them either, then I end up having several brushes with me after using once just lying around. For the above reason, I recommend the toothbrush for people who want to get the first electric toothbrush. For people who already use / have used electric toothbrushes, I would rather recommend to buy a better quality.

I’ve always used oral B electric toothbrushes as they are so much better than a manual toothbrushUnfortunately this one does not have a light indicator to tell you whether it needs charging up or not. So it just suddenly stops. The other problem is when it is on charge there is no as to whether it is charging up or not or ready etc.I like the way it cleans. It does have 3 settings and this is not as vigorous or fast as others so if you have fragile skin or sensitive skin then this is the one. It does clean well however when I need to replace it I will make sure there is a light indicator on there All of these electrical toothbrushes come with a 2 pin so we are used to this therefore it is not a problem for us, as we have plenty of adaptors. This is my first electric toothbrush and I'm pleased with the surface cleaning that it gives. However it seems to compact debris between teeth and I aways have to floss. Also maybe I'm just inept but I find it so messy. I try to keep my mouth closed as much as possible and tilt my head back slightly but there is a limit to the effectiveness of doing so in preventing dribbling. I like the 30 sec timing markers that help to define how long to brush. I wish there had been instructions on how to brush effectively. A couple of pictograms weren't sufficient. Overall a good product in removing plaque but not at removing food debris. Boots staff were kind and helpful to me during the purchase.

Very disappointed, it seems a 3 speed has been substituted for a light! Slow speed is very slow, would rather have had one or 2 speeds AND the charging light. Slow speed is very gentle and for me likely useless. However full speed is a great clean and the 2 minute timer is very useful. The no charging light is a real pain as you have no warning when battery is low, maybe when I’ve that toothbrush a while, I’ll learn the sound difference, but for now, it obviously stops dead inevitable in the middle of a clean and you have no idea when it’s fully charged. I’d say sack the Designer that thought of that and Oral B think more about being user friendly and a little less about cost saving!
My wife bought me the Pro Black toothbrush for my birthday and I am extremely disappointed with my wife's purchase. For one reason to put a black on/off switch on a black handle is useless as you struggle to see the on/off switch. The second more important reason is the handle hasn't any ribbed grip on it.As a result when you are brushing your teeth the excess toothpaste which comes out from your mouthgoes on to the handle which results in the handle becoming to slippery to hold.Which results in stopping the toothbrush when I can find the on/of switch drying the the handle and starting again.I can assure you this is very frustrating and time consuming. I haven't told my wife about this problem as she would be extremely upsetas it was a birthday present from her.
I bought this as a family member said electric toothbrushes are much better than manual. It is gentler on teeth & gums. I’ll have to wait to see my dentist again to see if my teeth are in any better condition since using this. I like how it has 3 modes & a timer. Sadly, there more Cons to this product than Pros.. 1. No battery light indicator. Every time the battery has died I’ve been using it & I’m left with a mouth full of toothpaste. 2. The battery takes as Oral B has stated, 12-16 hours to fully charge which is ridiculous. I have headphones with ANC that take 1 hour to charge & give me 30 hours of playing time. 3. I only use the toothbrush around 7 minutes per day using it twice a day & the battery dies on the third or fourth day. 4. It is not worth £50. I ... I actually paid £25 as it was half price & is still not worth it. 5. It comes with no plug adapter for this type of 2 prong plug so I had to buy an adapter. If this thing could clean my home for me every day then it would be worth the full price.
Why do these electric toothbrushes still come with old school 2 pin bathroom chargers? Surely its about time they did away with these and went more USB based as a lot of people dont have these styles of charger ports in their bathrooms these days, not only that but both the packaging and the website description barely mentions the charger what so ever, let alone what style it is, which makes me think they are trying to hide this information as it might affect sales when people find this info. Also, the charger cradles are completely useless, they dont have any LED indicators as whether or not the toothbrush is charging or not or to tell you when its finished charging, nor any information on the website about how long it takes to charge. Not impressed in general.
Firstly the good things about the brush, it is very tactile and has a good battery life, at least when new. Only time will tell in the long run. Now the not so good things. There are no visual indications of charge status, the only time you know it needs charging is when it stops. Similarly there is no indication when it is fully charged so over charging could be a problem. Then there is the silly idea of 3 speeds, if you want a slow speed brush then but a kids one. You therefore have to press the button 3 times to get the full speed. At least you only need to press the button once to switch it off. My old Oral B brush had a red charge light a green charging light and a big red LED to show excessive pressure. The new brush is definitely a step back in design.
With the Oral-B Vatality Pro, the manufacturer offers us the smallest brother of its Oral B family. Our Gift Edition comes with an extra handpiece in pink. This is of course very practical, because everyone can use their own handpiece. The packaging looks very appealing and in the box are two brush heads, the charging stations, as well as a small special Zellte, about which we were very pleased, an additional year warranty. The Oral-B in black looks very cool, both are as usual high quality workmanship and are quite neat in the hand. The brush heads are simply plugged in and cleaning can begin at the touch of a button. There are three different modes available, although these tend to differ in terms of different rotation speeds. The brush heads are simply plugged in and cleaning can begin at the touch of a button. There are three different modes available, although these tend to differ in terms of different rotation speeds. For the beginner, these should be sufficient. What strikes me personally is that there is no status display of the battery condition. With our old ones, it was at least signaled by a vibration of the device that the battery state is close to short. So it is permanently on the charging station, which is not so good for battery and power consumption. We try to approach and count the weeks. The cleaning result can still be rated as good. The rotating bristles clean the teeth carefully and remove what is present. I must confess that I do not tolerate the bristles so well, because after a few applications I notice that my teeth react much more sensitive. I have now once ordered the Sensetive heads. For the entry into the Oral-B world, for a very normal replacement of the manual toothbrush, the Vitality Pro is a good candidate. However, if you want to have some extra programs in addition to the normal cleaning, or the connection to the app, you have to dig much deeper into your pocket.
