Electric Toothbrush Oral-B Pro1 Duo

The Oral-B PRO Series 1 electric toothbrush helps you brush the way your dentist recommends. The timer helps you brush your teeth for 2 minutes and notifies you every 30 seconds to change the brushing area. The round brush head removes up to 100% more plaque than a conventional manual toothbrush, even in hard-to-reach places, for healthier gums. The integrated pressure sensor automatically reduces the brushing speed if you apply too much pressure.

Just go this electric toothbrush, its the first time I have ever had one. I am not very impressed, the description makes it sound like it has lots of helpful parts to it, like pressure sensor and timer for how to brush your teeth for. I havent found either of these yet, there is only one button to press, the instructions are not very good either. I must admit I am disappointed. Not great for the money

This will be okay if you have a shaver socket in your house. If you don't have one then you will have to buy an adapter. I could not see in the description where is says this has a shaver plug which I think is important as not every house has shaver sockets.

First transition from junior to adult toothbrush

Bought for my daughter who has always used Oral B Junior electric toothbrush and she loves it. The 4 x 30second timers encourage her to brush in sections, it has a good battery life before needing to be recharged and the cute pink colour is very on trend right now, so a good transition from the Disney versions to a ‘grown up’ toothbrush. She hasn’t used the different settings so I can’t comment on those but overall, very happy with the purchase.

Good clean, but poorly designed handle
1 November 2023

I bought this a couple of months ago, having used Oral B electric toothbrushes for 10+ years. I don't like the change in design of the handle. It makes it almost impossible to hold the toothbrush in place, as there is nothing to stop your fingers sliding up the handle. If they continue with this design, it will be the last toothbrush I buy from them, as my ability to grip will only decline with age. Looks pretty, but poorly designed for actual use.

Not as good as previous Oral B
7 October 2023

The performance is as good as my previous Oral B toothbrush. However, as others have said, it is disappointing that the charge only lasts a week. I also find the grip is poor in comparison - it is very smooth plastic and it slips out of my hand easily. Fortunately it was a half price offer at Boots - I certainly would not have paid full price as in my opinion it is not worth the money.

Nothing for slippery hands to grip
10 October 2023

Bought the pale blue version In-Store. Box says Type 3757 but base of toothbrush says Type 3791. Works fine when your hands are dry, but there's nothing for slippery hands to grip. Stupid design.

Okay product when half price.
13 November 2023

Needed to replace my old oral b electric toothbrush and thought this might be a good alternative while it was on a half price offer. The first couple of times I used it, the vibration against my teeth seemed a bit more uncomfortable than my previous toothbrush but I think it might be I just need to get used to it. Main problem for me is the casing is very smooth and if it gets wet it becomes very slippery and it’s slipped out if my hands a couple of times already. ( my old one has a sort of rubbery texture making it easier to grip)

Pressure sensor poor
12 October 2023

I have receeding gums and I bought this as it has a pressure sensor which stops the toothbrush from working so you don’t accidentally brush too hard and do damage to your gums. Unfortunately its set so high that you’d have to brush incredibly hard for this to actually work/stop. Therefore, this feature is useless! Other than that, its an ok toothbrush, but not what I was expecting.

Short charge life
1 September 2023

This electric toothbrush is ok but nowhere near as good as my last one for holding a charge. Only lasts a week at most. Having said that it’s pretty cheap and does the job.

The toothbrush is fine, just what I wanted. I ordered it through the app. Delivered on time. The only problem is. I haven't received my Boots Advantage points yet
