The easy to clean insides, the smoothness of the drawers as the glue effortlessly back into place with just a minor touch, the low noise output compared with my old fridge.... its all been more than I could have wished for. If I have one gripe, it is that the alarm when a door or drawer is left open for to long could do with being a bit louder, but that's about it. Economically, it's fine. We bought this fridge a month ago and I do really love it. The space is fantastic, I love the flexible drawer and the freezer space is excellent. I noticed some people complained about the noise level and also the speed of the water dispenser. At times it is noticeably noisier than a regular fridge however it hasn’t really bothered us. The water dispenser is also fine although I can understand why some people feel it’s slow but I don’t think it’s any slower than a regular water filter. The two minor areas that I think could be improved are: 1. The storage in the doors. Fridge packed with functionality
3 August 2021

I bought this fridge after owning standard white upside down (freezer on bottom). I was extremely happy with my previous fridge but was renovating the kitchen and purchased this fridge as an upgrade in size and function. It is a plumbed fridge which we have not had before and for a family of five this is a wonderful addition. It provides cold filtered water, ice cubes and crushed ice and I am so glad not to be finding empty water jugs and ice trays in my fridge! The storage options in both fridge and freezer and super-customizable and I am sure different aspects will appeal to different people. Part of the top shelf is able to be slid back to allow for taller containers/bottles and there is a double wine bottle holder under the middle shelf. Part of the top shelf is able to be slid back to allow for taller containers/bottles and there is a double wine bottle holder under the middle shelf. Both of these options are nifty but as I dont require them, I would rather have a continuous glass shelves without the extra fittings to make it easier to wipe over. I felt that my old white fridge had more useable door storage but that may be because of the need to allow for the plumbing section of the fridge. The snack drawers are a waste of space to me and I would rather larger crispers or more space between shelves. Surprisingly I really like the entertainers section of the fridge (the middle drawer). Because the temp can be changed from fridge to freezer and anywhere in between, it is very versatile. It also has a simple drawer divider so the minimal fixtures mean maximum storage space. As it is currently winter, our outdoor drinks fridge is turned off and we have it set for a few bottle of wine and beer but I envisage in summer it will become extra freezer space for icecreams and iceblocks or an antipasta drawer to keep supplies for cheese platters etc. The freezer is a good design with very useable space. The finish on the doors is easy to clean and I like the streamlined look of the fridge with no handles. Overall a great fridge.

Great Fridge but problems with ice maker
29 July 2021

I am not a regular review writer but felt my experience with this product should be shared. I purchased this item approximately two years ago and the ice maker had ongoing issues from the start but more on that later. The fridge itself was awesome and easily the best one we have ever had. It is roomy and with all the different configurations possible with the adjustable shelves we could fit anything in it. The freezer compartment fit heaps in it and the two draw system allowed us to separate the bigger items so the others were easy to get to. The best part of the whole fridge is the convertible Entertainers Draw that can be a drinks fridge, deli/snack fridge or even a freezer. The freezer compartment fit heaps in it and the two draw system allowed us to separate the bigger items so the others were easy to get to. The best part of the whole fridge is the convertible Entertainers Draw that can be a drinks fridge, deli/snack fridge or even a freezer. Separate from the main fridge part every time I pulled out an ice cold beer it never affected the fridge temperature. Once you have used this you will want it in very fridge. We really did have a great experience with this fridge except for the ice maker. The ice maker broke down six times over the two years we had five times it was due to not producing ice. To Electrolux's credit they got it fixed without hesitation each time and replaced it completely on the fifth occasion only for a different mechanism to break in it it with only a month left on warranty. It did appear that the previous problem in regards to not making ice had been rectified. This is where they (Electrolux) deserve a big wrap as at their recommendation not my prompting they offered us a replacement fridge with new two year warranty or store credit to the value of the fridge. As you can imagine this offer was greatly accepted as the warranty period was about to expire. Now here is where our love for this fridge and the great service we received won out as we chose to replace it not buy a different model because we believe (fingers crossed) that they had rectified the ice producing problem as they apparently made changes to the ice maker itself. We are hoping this fridge is as good as the last with the added bonus of the ice maker working as it should because as noted earlier the Entertainers Draw alone is great feature that you will absolutely love.

Great refrigerator
16 January 2020

Being a Refrigeration mechanic with my own business I wanted to ensure that I purchased one of the best refrigerators currently on the Australian market. My main features I was looking for was very extremely stable temperatures within the compartments. Secondly was space and an ability to see and reach products even at the back. This is a big issue for side by sides. I've been monitoring temperature fluctuations with a couple of temp recorders and am very satisfied with the electronic temperature controls. I love the adjustable temperature drawer, currently being used as a freezer but will use it for fresh produce soon. The ice maker and water/ ice dispenser works well and there is no condensation forming anywhere which indicates the insulation is correctly designed ... MoreBeing a Refrigeration mechanic with my own business I wanted to ensure that I purchased one of the best refrigerators currently on the Australian market. This is a big issue for side by sides. I've been monitoring temperature fluctuations with a couple of temp recorders and am very satisfied with the electronic temperature controls. I love the adjustable temperature drawer, currently being used as a freezer but will use it for fresh produce soon. The ice maker and water/ ice dispenser works well and there is no condensation forming anywhere which indicates the insulation is correctly designed for Australian climates. Areas that could be improved are few but I'll list them as if the R&D team can sort then this cabinet will be at the top of the tree by far. 1. The small sliding hatches in the floor of the refrigerator section are just way to shallow, manual suggests cheese and other condiments, but unless it's just a few slices of cheese these are almost pointless. Please measure a standard block of cheese and increase the depth to become a useful feature. 2. I haven't Checked yet but hoping the door springs might be adjustable, as the way they are its nearly impossible to give to door a light push to close. If you manage to get the door to close it bangs very violently, so the doors need to be closed by holding them all the way. When you have your hands full of items just removed this is not able to be done, so the door ends up staying open far longer than necessary. 3. The app. I was really looking forward to the app as I'm always monitoring temperatures whether at work or at home, so you can imagine my disappointment to find that the app does not dispkay the cabinet temperature, it only can Adjust the temperature or turn off the ice maker plus change the temperature or the drawer... Why? I can't imagine why anybody would need to adjust this over the internet, but checking the actual temp, when away for the weekend or if you have had a power outage, absolutely, this is what the app should be able to do...maybe (hopefully) this will be in an update soon. Anyway in conclusion this fridge is a fridge and a very good one. At the end of the day you don't really need to be able to knock on the door to see what's inside... Or watch TV from the the fridge. But what you do need is a fridge that works extremely well with very close temperature fluctuations to ensure produce maintains freshness for as long as possible.

Had this fridge 3 months now. Before purchasing this fridge I read other reviews about how loud it was, but I thought how bad can it be, they are just exaggerating. But yeah it is loud. We had a Samsung French door fridge before with an icemaker and soda stream in it, and that made noises. But this is next level. The motor constantly kicking on and off, several times in a minute, there is a fan that makes noise, and also a deep groaning noise. The light for the water dispenser takes a second to turn on after the water has started flowing. But if it’s dark and I’m trying to fill a water bottle it’s impossible to see where the water spout is. It should turn on instantly. Other fridges have option to turn this light on all the time as an ambient light. The snack ... MoreHad this fridge 3 months now. It’s just tricky getting stuff out when it’s at the back of the compartment. Need to use a ruler or something to flick it forward. Perhaps of the drawer lids were lift up and removable would make it easier. The app doesn’t really do much, it would be good to be able to control the light settings, off/constant on/ or normal. The good stuff, the ice maker is great, fast and doesn’t jam up or over produce. The middle drawer we use for our drinks, so we can change the temperature and have them super cold. Freezer has heaps of space. Main compartment as a carbon air filter so no more smells. Everything stays fresh. Would I buy this model again? Probably not. Buts it is a good fridge.

MODERN SLEEK ROOMY & SUPER VERSITILE

Having wider shelves to put in those yummy cakes for birthdays & events is terrific. The Freezer drawers are great with the inner drawer I can keep all the open bagged frozen goods as well as other frozen bagged food. I keep all those boxed foods in the bottom most on there sides so they are easy to read & just pull out. We are still waiting on the owner of the home to get the water connected, so I cant comment on this option of the fridge yet. But I do like door dispenser on the fridge compared to other models I've had over the past 20 years. The space used for this appears much smaller allowing for more space in other areas. This fridge is big for a family of 4-6 easily, it gives more than enough space to have family events & entertain friends over, still leaving room for your everyday item to get you through the week. A bonus that my partner loves is the drinks bracket which hangs under the self leaving room for other items. He is also fond of the hidden snacks drawers down the bottom. I love this fridge & am glad we reconsidered a completely different brand. I cant fault this product in any way. Here's hoping I can help sway someone else to buy this great fridge.

Nice features, shame they don't all work!

We bought this just over a month ago and the fridge and freezer sections work well. Unfortunately the middle draw does not work so well. Other reviews complained that it thaws no matter what temperature setting is selected, ours freezes even on the highest setting. Our previous (and now second) fridge is a Westinghouse 696 litre side-by-side, and this is noticeably smaller. The flip and slide shelving is a nice idea but reduce storage capacity. The ice dispenser on our previous fridge stopped working after a couple of years, so far the new water and ice systems work well. The manual suggests that if you have poor water quality you may need an external filter as well as the internal filter. I tried this as our previous fridge had an external filter and found there ... MoreWe bought this just over a month ago and the fridge and freezer sections work well. Very disappointing

After a lot of research we decided that this refrigerator was the best for size and quality. The first one arrived with a dent in the door, after connecting the water supply an internal hose burst and leaked across the floor.A replacement was arranged by The Good Guys and arrived two days later. This one was fine, unfortunately the shelves in the upper fridge area were warped and did not fit correctly, new ones are on order. Its not the quietest fridge, it does make random peculiar noises which may be a problem with open plan living. All in the appliance its self is well designed, although the quality is dubious, I don't expect it will last much more than the 12 month warranty.
